When you’ve got an all-encompassing restaurant business like Drake’s parent company BHG you might expect overpriced food and maybe mediocre flavor overall. This is not the case with Drake’s. The food is very tasty. The staff is amazing.

We had to come try to the “All “B” It Burger” for burger week. (A fresh, never frozen burger with brie, smoked bacon, citrus-splashed arugula & blueberry-bourbon BBQ sauce on a warm butter-toasted bun.) They brought it out quickly and it was absolutely worth the stop. Our server was super friendly and that was just a nice added bonus.

The food is always spectacular and I usually have great service when I dine in. My lower rating is because of service. This time I sat at the bar and immediately placed my to go order. At the time I am writing this, I have been waiting over half an hour for my order and the bartenders have not checked on me or given me a water while I wait. I am a bartender and server myself and feel like this is front of house service 101. I understand that kitchens take a little longer during peak business, but assuring your guest that you are checking on it and doing your best to make them comfortable is essential.

Took my mom out for lunch after her surgery. We had a great experience and the food was excellent. This is one of our favorite restaurants in Lexington. All of our food was fresh, crispy and flavorful. Our drinks were always topped off by Michael H. Excellent service. We shared the Big Blue Burger, Volcano sushi and the fried chicken tenders.

Normally I love the food at drakes, but beware of the sushi. First, it didn’t look anything like the picture. Second, it tasted terrible. Third, it made sick. I couldn’t even finish it, it tasted so bad. I’ll stick to the burgers next time. No more sushi.

Love going here. The bartenders and wait staff are friendly and attentive. The menu is varied however it’s too large. Their sushi is okay for a sports bar. To be fair masterson station/Meadowview area does not have a lot of good dining/sports bar options. Drake’s, and their staff, are helping fill that void.

Drakes was a fantastic lunch venue. Even during burger week, the service was fantastic and friendly. The burger was excellent, though I preferred mine sans lettuce. It was very tasty and perfectly cooked. Always great service.
