Service was great. Food was good. However, the burgers were saltier than I prefer. The buffalo chicken dip seemed to leave a gritty texture in my mouth, not sure why or how. Overall, we had a good experience.

The patio punch is delicious! So is the the Buffalo chicken Mac and cheese. Only downside was the wait time for food but it was a busy Friday night. Our waitress was very nice and made sure our table had everything we needed.

This was my first experience here at Drake’s, and I must say it was a great first time. The service was excellent. It is a sit yourself type of establishment, which is always a great way to start. They have a live fire places, so I chose that option. I pre looked at the menu before I got there. I ordered the Black and Blue burger was excellent. Very tasty! It came out hot and fresh and the wait wasn’t long at all. I will definitely highly recommend if you are in the Lexington area.

Went to Drake’s after leaving the Asbury Revival in Wilmore. Ordered a promotional time limited item, the shrimp grilled cheese and it came with tomato bisque and it was so delicious. The grilled cheese was really good and I was really impressed with the flavorfulness of the tomato soup. I requested Sriracha and used some on my grilled cheese but the tomato soup tasted so good I didn’t want to put any Sriracha in it because it just tasted so good with a touch of spiciness. The waitress was pleasant and attentive. The atmosphere was pleasant, relaxing and the decor was nice.

Edit Aug 17. I have loved Drake’s for years and the rest of BHG too. The quality at the Landsdown location has really gone downhill in the past 6 months. The last 3 times I have ordered takeout, they have made mistakes. This is disappointing based on how much I love BHG. This location has made some change that impacts Quality and consistency .

I just happened to be looking for a place to have brunch. Though I go to Drake’s on a regular basis, I did not know they had brunch. I enjoyed a perfect Bacon, lettuce, tomato, and egg Sandwich on a butter bun. It was beyond delicious and satisfying, especially because of the addition of waffle sweet potato fries…. Available until 4 PM means that you can complete. All your Sunday morning activities and still have a great brunch…… that’s an hour later than other local restaurants.
