I enjoyed my visit to Drexler’s. The staff were extremely friendly, the restaurant was clean and table settings were welcoming. I ordered the blue crab hushpuppies which were delicious, flavorful, and had plenty of crab meat. The Coffee Duroc Pork was tender and juicy but I just wish it was a little more flavorful/seasoned. The crusty bread with compound butter was perfect and I couldn’t get enough! Their cocktails were beautifully presented and strong. Overall it was a nice experience with good food & drinks and friendly staff. Check them out!

This was a nice quaint place. The food was delicious, especially the crab hushpuppies. The meats were nice and tender as it was cooked on a firewood grill. The drinks were really good. Hats off to the bartender shaking and stirring those drinks to perfection. The service was superb. There’s not a big selection of food on the menu. Overall, it was a nice spot. I would definitely recommend.

Been waiting to try Drexler’s for a date night and it did not disappoint! The empanadas and crab hush puppies were very good in addition to the generous coffee pork entree. It’s obvious the food is fresh & intentionally made. Beautiful space, friendly staff, overall a great vibe. A much needed addition to the Phoebus restaurant scene!

Best restaurant in the area. Great food, drinks and even better service. The cream brûlée was the best I have ever had. We will definitely be back!

Never ate at a wood fired grill before. It turned out to be more than I expected. First off the spanish style cured chorizo appetizer with olives and goat/feta cheese, with crostini was great. Our server was awesome. He brought out different dipping sauces for us to try with our appetizer, they turned out to be amazing. Dinner was the 8oz. filet, wow. The filet was seared from the wood fired grill that left a char on the outside that made the filet. The smoked old fashioned went great with dinner. Was also told that they are bringing back their Sunday wine brunch.

Drexler’s was a very nice quaint restaurant in the Phoebus area of Hampton, VA. Our server was so nice and knowledgeable and he gave us ideas on what to have! The food was good but a little pricey for the amount of food you got; the hen portions were small (see picture) for $30 and also the porkchop for $35! The crab hushpuppies were the best I’ve ever tasted and worth the price! The Beso Besos drink was very strong, but the Artistic Director drink was better! We would probably go again if they had more chicken options.

I am glad Drexler’s exists, elevating the Phoebus/Hampton dining scene. Great interior, pretty bar, and only a dozen or so indoor tables, with just a few occupied on a Sunday night.

Went in Aug. 26 2023 with my two sons and husband. The boys loved their French fries. But my older sons chicken wings were pink in the middle. My husband’s half chicken, also pink in the middle just as my pork chop was and charred only on one side. Sucatash was overwhelmed with random beans someone had left over in the back and mashed potatoes need to be seasoned. I asked for a pairing and was looked at like I had six heads. The crab dip was good until it got cold then it was just cream cheese. We also got the empanadas, which had a good crusting. All together the night was $220 with tip. The girl needed to be tipped well because the kitchen was clearly taking away her tips with the bad food they pushed out. I boxed my families food and cooked it at home. Never going back

Just what the Hampton area needed! Upbeat but not overwhelming atmosphere, charming aesthetic, attentive service, and savory menu options! The drinks came out quickly and the food was very good. Don’t skip dessert, the cheesecake was spot on. See you again very soon!
