The service was excellent. The appetizers was awesome, the barbecue and coleslaw was delicious. But the salad was terrible, it was a glob of tomatoes, cheese and carrots with no dressing on a bed of lettuce. But over all it was a very nice place to eat.

After spending the day at Smith Mountain Lake we stopped here for a late lunch. The burgers were great. My wife loved her Bedford Landings Burger and my burger was juicy and delicious. The Cheesy Bacon Chips w/chocolate barbecue were outstanding. The drinks were great. And our server, Ashley was friendly and helpful. This will be our new lake spot from now on!

I had a wonderful experience with my friends hanging while on the boat. We were able to dock and walk up to the restaurant. Great bar food and cocktails. Fun vibes! Plenty of outdoor and indoor seating. I would definitely go back and order the quesadillas the next time we hangout on the lake!

Not part of the SML crowd so I don’t understand the rave reviews. We were not expecting a four star restaurant, but I have been to biker bars much better than this place. First, it was hot in the restaurant. Why were we not told ac was out? The crab dip was not good My husband got tuna tacos. Not good. I got “house made” chicken salad. Not good. They had none of the wine I asked for. Drifters seem very proud of their margaritas and I think that was the best thing ordered. We waited over an hour to get our food while those who came later got served well before we did. And the water view was sad. If someone is out boating and comes in for a burger and a beer, I see the appeal, otherwise I cannot say anything else good about Drifters, especially after getting hit with an $85 bill being served in a to go bowl.

We had a party of 12, a little seating mix up in the beginning, but was taken care of quickly! Our server was simply AWESOME, and really knows her job! Food was great! Only reason for not giving 5 stars is the music was to loud and I couldn’t have a conversation with someone on the other side of the table!
