Traveling thru Danville and stopped for some good Southern food. Chicken sandwich, legs, whiting fish, seasoned fries, regular fries, sauce for the chicken was sweet and tasty, hotdog on the grill was yum, collard greens, hush puppies and corn bread. Don’t worry about decor – the food is great. Nice people with personality too.

I used to like the food here. They have fallen off pretty bad. Just ordered veggie plate and a burger n fries …was horrible…they put cut up old discolored hotdogs in the cabbage and it had so much sugar in it that it was all you could taste pure sugar…the Mac n cheese was okay for flavor but drowning in oil and the yams were burnt to a black crisp and they tried to cover it up by putting all the black hard stuff on the bottom and mixed up lighter color on top. Then the fries has some sort of sweet powder all over them when I order plain…my burger was soooooo salty I could not even eat it after I e bite my lips and tongue had salt shock, the bun was soggy and stuck to the paper. Worst meal I have had the entire time I have lived in Danville (4yrs) this was disgusting and the owner should be ashamed to put this type of quality out…I tried to get a refund but was refused seeing how it was a door dash order. The man who answered the phone was rude and unprofessional as well. I do not..I repeat..I DO NOT recommend at all…this place has the worst food in Danville besides the Riverview restaurant but the quality was about the same. Horrible both thumbs down.

Lady at the counter was super friendly. Prices were reasonable. Place was pretty run down and food was ok. A lot of our food seemed grocery store bought. From other reviews it seems like their ribs and a few other things are really good. I’d say it’s still worth giving a try, however, do expect a solid 3 start restaurant.

Yum, yum, yum! I ordered a 1/2 rack rib combo with collard greens and macaroni salad. Ribs are fall off the bone delicious! Collards were cooked to perfection. Husband got flounder, a huge chicken leg and cajun fries, all excellent. Loved the customer service. Definitely will return!

We stop here for dinner not knowing what to expect. What we found here blew us away. Not only were the ribs thick tender and perfectly seasoned The sides were solid and the two people working behind the counter were friendly and took great pride in there food,as it deserves. I was planning on taking a picture,but the food looked and smelled so good had to dig right in. I’ll be back the next time in Danville and will be hungry for more.
