For being a Friday night and having 6 people arrive at 6 pm, we only had to wait 1.5 hours. We were able to do most of our waiting at the bar where all of us could sit together too. I had the salted Carmel tea and it tasted like melted salted Carmel ice cream. Absolutely loved it and would definitely recommend that drink. I got fried shrimp, steamed fish, and hush puppies for dinner. It was decent. Not the best fried shrimp or fish but not bad either. The story of the restaurant/its name was fun to read about and cool to see the little goat island too. No real goats lived there anymore though.

With so many big restaurants to choose from on the inlet, I’m very happy with our selection. I’m sure you can’t really go wrong with any of them since it’s the seafood capital of Carolina here, this area is a must when visiting!

We happened to fall upon this gem when we were just driving through Murrels Inlet! We had such a great experience from the time we walked into the time we departed! The staff was so friendly and accommodating. We were offered different seats, either inside or out. We chose to sit outside and what they called the rail, which meant we sat at bar stools that faced the water! We were able to watch the boats enter and depart! The outside patio is nicely decorated! There is a story about this place, and it fits perfectly! I am posting pictures of the story, so hopefully, you can read it! Great food and fast service! We will definitely be returning! The bathrooms were even nice!

The food is awesome! If you’re looking for something unique with great drinks and food, this is the place. The shrimp and crab fondue is delicious and the stuffed flounder is out of this world.

If you’re looking for good local seafood and good service, this is amazing. I only wish I could have the recipe for their hot sauce. We had the best chicken wings we have ever eaten while we were there. Everything else was good as well

Many tables have great water views. I had a boiled seafood platter, including flounder shrimp and a stuffed crab. It was really good. Many seafood entrees along with steaks, salads, and sandwiches. Full bar available. Excellent service.

Bad drinks and service (Meg), but great views of the inlet marshes. My wife and I chose Drunken Jack’s because of the great views from the deck. The server was friendly and we ordered drinks, with me ordering the Walnut Old Fashioned with Knob Creek bourbon. I was a bit surprised when the drink arrived, as it had a sliced orange peel with the fruit ripped away. As I sipped the drink, I thought I could taste the walnut bitters, but not the bourbon. Halfway into the drink, I found the fruit had been muddled, which explained why I could not taste the bourbon. I asked the waitress if the orange should be muddled, as I thought I read it is a slice, and she said yes. After stating I’ve had many old fashions and never had a muddled orange, she told me she’s never had an old fashioned without a muddled orange. I chose to accept that they made it differently and not argue. She later assured me the bartender said it should be muddled. Upon leaving, I checked the menu again, and it was supposed to be a slice of orange. Needless to say, we will not return here as the bartender and the server don’t know how to make their own drink correctly, nor satisfy a customer’s complaint.

Fantastic in every way. Pretty expensive (9 people, 9 entrees 2 appetizers and 5 beverages, 1 kids meal =$600+ after tip), but worth it. View is amazing and the food was just as amazing. Steak Neptune !!

Our first time here. Ended up here after a Google search for “where do locals eat”. True or not, it was really good. Wait staff was great, food was great, local brews on tap, and the view we had was awesome. We’ll be back this summer
