While in Nashville for the recent Beyonce concert, our group couldn’t resist the allure of this JEAN-GEORGES restaurant, having enjoyed their other locations in NYC. The dining room, bathed in soft light, welcomed us with a beautiful ambiance.

Superb, top quality dining experience. Quite possibly the best service I’ve ever had, the waitress was lovely. The atmosphere is over the top with ambiance. The food is incredible! Best dessert ever, top notch risotto, try the avocado pizza! You won’t be disappointed! 5 stars to the chefs, especially the dessert chef ‍

Me and my husband had a lovely night out with an amazing meal inside the most relaxing and romantic atmosphere. From the food to the service everything was exceptional. We both loved the low light ambiance along the perfectly cooked steaks to finish with a fantastic and refreshing raspberry pavlova with lemon sorbette that was just the perfect ending for the hot night summer. Yes, it is not cheap, but well worth it.

This is by far one of the best overall experiences I’ve had in Nashville thus far! The bar is a perfect romantic hideaway between the hustle and bustle of downtown Nashville, while the food may be even better than the ambiance!! The current seasonal vegetable was carrots, and they were amazing in each of the dishes we shared.

I was not impressed by Drusie and Darr. In my opinion, the food and service did not provide good value or meet what I have come to expect from the hermitage hotel.

Came here on a date. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. The lighting was just right not to dark or bright. My waitress Rebecca was very attentive and sweet. The PIZZA WAS DELICIOUS and the Sundae is to die for. I definitely recommend bringing a date here or family.

Second time dining here. The seats are so comfortable and the service is always top notch. The salmon and chicken had great flavor.

also greasy and tasted like any lemon pepper chicken while the sauce served with it was flavorless. Adding the lime over it made it somewhat bearable to eat. Based on the good reviews about the octopus dish, I had high expectations but it was one of the worst dishes out of all we’ve ordered. The dish was salter than the seven seas… and that says a lot coming from a person that isn’t a picky eater and likes salty food. The sauce was comparable to yum yum sauce… salty. I had made it known to our server that this dinner was for my partner’s birthday and had said that the restaurant normally does something special for occasions… we got nothing. During the whole dinner we never had service as fast as how quick she charge my card and bagged our food. Before then it was nearly an hour from when she served the last 2 dishes to when she gave us the check. Besides all the cons, the atmosphere was nice, the bathrooms were clean, and valet was free… but that’s quite less than the bare minimum. The dinner overall costed a little over $200 including wines, soda, and tip. I don’t recommend this place. Not even on my worst enemy.

Absolutely beautiful restaurant and incredible food! But my recommendation is skip the cocktails – they’re pretty basic and the most expensive I’ve ever seen – which is saying something for downtown Nashville! Also was a little surprised to be asked four times whether we were celebrating a birthday or anniversary, but there wasn’t anything complimentary when in fact I did go for an anniversary. All in all would recommend, especially if looking for an upscale vegan option

I had high expectations for Druise and Darr, but like most reviewers, my expectations exceeded my reality. My husband had the tasting menu, and he said it was good, but nothing spectacular. I ordered the snap pea salad, and tenderloin. The salad was unique, but way too heavy on the lemon in the dressing. The tenderloin was good, but again, nothing spectacular. I enjoyed the presentation of the zucchini rose, but it was bland and flavorless. In my opinion, you shouldn’t have to season anything with salt and pepper in a high-end restaurant. Sadly, I had to season my steak and the mushy zucchini. I am glad I asked for the sauce on the side for the tenderloin, because it was way too spicy for my taste! We also had high hopes for dessert. The lava cake was good! However, the peach cobbler was tough. Almost like a toffee! Way too much sugar and flour and was too few peaches. I guess my big takeaway from this experience is I am glad I tried it! Experiences like this one help me remember that reputation can only get you so far. I think I will stick to the new restaurants where the chefs are scratching and fighting their way to win a customer base, not riding the coattails of a once famous chef that has become complacent.
