I have heard great things about this place so I wanted to give it a try. I ordered an oxtail plate and a oxtail and curry goat plate. I waited about 10 to 15 minutes for my food and got my order and left. By the time I got home I realized that they had given me the wrong order. I called and the gentleman taking orders and immediately knew who I was and was incredibly nice. He told me to come back in the next day so that I could get the correct order. I called before I got there and let him know I was on my way. When I got there my food was ready. The oxtails, rice and peas and cabbage that come with the meal were so tasty. Everything was great. What I appreciate the most is that they did not give me a hard time about the orders, did not give me a hard time about paying, and we’re just incredibly nice and accommodating. I will absolutely be back, based on the customer service alone! But the food is off the hook too!

First time trying this place. I played it safe and went with the jerk chicken, which was amazing! The young lady at the counter suggested oxtail gravy on my rice, which added incredible flavor. Veggies and plantains came with it too. The small was more than enough for me. I’ll definitely be back to try the curry goat!

Place does have seats but is more of a takeout place. Had a large jerk chicken. It comes with cabbage, plantains and peas and rice. I suggest getting it with gravy if you like spicy. Also the BBQ sauce is great. Cabbage was a 10. Plantains were good and sweet. Wanted the peas and rice to have a little more thyme and coconut milk but it was good nevertheless. Chicken was well cooked and you could taste the jerk. Wanted it to be a little more juicy and a little more spice but it was a 8 out of 10. Best in Sacramento by far.

This place has a food coma written all over it. We ordered the ox tail and the goat curry. Both dishes are so good, it make you want to slap your momma. Please note, no moms were harmed for this review. Anyways you get the point, get the oxtail and you can’t go wrong

The beef Jamaican patties. I can eat these every day. The curry goat, oxtails and jerk chicken weren’t bad either.

That Caribbean Snapper ! So good ! Customer service was great, but it is a place that you’d probably want to order for pick up , just due to seating and spacing !

The curry goat was not good and tasted left over. The peas and rice so dry. Cabbage uncooked like warm salad. My daughter’s 20.00 brown stew chicken had 2 drumsticks same dry peas rice. Plantain slice was good. Swear I cried and ate noodles! I feel catfished.

Having been in Jamaica last year we were looking forward to trying this place. It did not disappoint! The service is excellent and friendly, the food is authentic and outright delicious! And while we waited for our order we observed a huge amount of take-out flying through the doors. No wonder. This place is excellent! We did miss that second plantain we read about in other reviews, however.

The main dishes were good The snapper especially Sadly I am very familiar to the food and make plantains a lot and rice. The rice was cold Not fresh and the plantain also cold and a little hard I really encourage them to make the rice fresh and the plantains , cook as people order This is one thing that HAS to be fresh Soft and hot, but I will give them another chance Beautiful man !!!❤️
