We were recommended dueling spoons by a family member. We had our first available date night in a long time and decided on this restaurant, I went online and requested our reservation. I read through all the information that is provided and I understood what we would be expecting. We were in no rush and wanted to unwind and enjoy each others company. We were immediately greeted as we walked in and sat at a table. A lovely lady name Kathleen came and greeted us and brought some amazing bread to the table. We ordered appetizers and they came out pretty quick. We then ordered our food and as expected (it’s stated in the information when booking) it took a little bit to get to the table which was completely understandable when we took our first bites it was worth the wait. The food is amazing and the whole experience is awesome, all the restaurants I’ve been to I can’t remember a time the chef came to the table side to greet me and ask how the food is. Billy is an amazing chef and his amazing wife has an awesome personality. I 100% recommend dueling spoons.

My time at Dueling Spoons was an experience, not just a meal.

My wife and I had dinner here several days ago and it was awesome. I lost my sense of smell when I was in my mid 20’s which greatly diminishes the ability to taste and appreciate the foods I eat. Most foods taste bland to me. I am now in my mid 70’s. I don’t remember when I have ever enjoyed a dinner like the one that Chef Billy prepared for us. I could actually taste the flavors of my meal like I haven’t been able to do in decades. It was the best ever. If my belly had been able to hold it, I would have ordered a second meal.

Holy cow this place is amazing! Took the wife here for our anniversary and had an amazing experience. We ordered the surf and turf…lobster tail and 34oz tomahawk steak. This was hands down the best steak I’ve ever eaten. The lobster was great too. This family operated restaurant is not to be missed. They took over an old dusty shelved country market and turned it into a nice gem with delicious food. Reservations are a must as this place fills up fast. The chef, took the time to come out and greet every table and really made us feel at home. Expect a delay and just enjoy your time. We never had an empty glass and the family/staff were friendly and warming. We will be going back.

My wife and I had a marvelous time with friends at an incredible restaurant about 30 minutes outside of town in a place you’d least expect to find a culinary delight. Dueling Spoons was so incredible. Started with a roasted onion with mozzarella, tomatoes, basil and pesto with a balsamic drizzle. The four entrees we had – lamb chops, salmon, new York steak, and a seafood pot pie, were amazing. And to top it off, a delightful brownie sundae, served to us by none other than the namesake of that dessert – the owners’/chef’s daughter, Saoirse. If you are living or visiting our beautiful Eugene Springfield area, make reservations and go. Note – it took us 2 months to get these reservations. It was well worth it.

Family run restaurant with an exquisite menu. We watched a family share a Sundae that looked amazing, there was plenty of “Dueling Spoons” as they ate! We had a lovely table side conversation with the chef after our meal, and he graciously made us an after dinner treat of scallops we had mentioned we were disappointed not to see on the menu after seeing photos on Facebook. Chef Billy Reid and his family are passionate about providing a fine dining experience! Can’t wait to enjoy our next meal at Dueling Spoons.

Heard A LOT about this restaurant…..it’s located in Fall Creek…yes, Fall Creek! Make a reservation, take your time getting there (they are going to let you enjoy your time there, they won’t be pushy about time at the table), a good sized space and plenty of seating. DO NOT SHOW UP expecting to eat RIGHT AWAY, it took a GOOD while for someone to take our drink/appetizer order, but it was worth it! Dinner seemed to be out quicker to us and was FANTASTIC! We had Fillet & shrimp (cooked perfectly), wild boar (super tasty), chicken marsala (super tasty), I recommend them all! We will be back!

So Paul (husband), TD and Windi (sis&brother -n-law) had dinner at the dueling spoon’s restaurant to celebrate Windi’s birthday. I had made the reservation a month in advance. The drive was just over an hour. I am so glad we went. The food was amazing. It definitely was (an experience)…absolutely brilliant. Chef Billy has a wonderful gift of food that rates at the top he also has a wonderful family that help him at the restaurant. I will definitely be making another reservation soon.

Out in the middle of the scenic Fall Creek countryside is a surprise waiting to be discovered by local Eugene-Springfield residents. The area has been in need of a restaurant that has the star ⭐️ factor to celebrate special occasions and eat a delicious meal. Chef Billy, his wife Kathleen, and family knocked it out of park!

We were greeted with a warm and friendly face, seated prominently and started with Billy’s son Shawn. Some home made bread was brought out with a wonderful appetizer of pastry and mushrooms. Kathleen came out to visit with us and check in to see how we were enjoying our meal. Billy the owner and chef came out and introduced himself and visited with us. The main meal came out and I could not believe how wonderful this meal was. I have not had food this good in a long time. I wanted to share it with everyone, I also wanted to thank Billy myself back in the kitchen. I can not say enough about this place and the wonderful family that runs it. 5 stars is not enough
