Not extraordinary, different from having a hot dog at home. Hot dogs were okay. Fries were cooked more like “raw” fries. Not outstanding. My hubby and I have wanted to try this restaurant for a minute. We did & now we are done with our hot dog craving. So, I have no other words or descriptive comments regarding the hot dogs. We did note that customers seemed to purchase more ice cream cones than hot dogs while we were there. So, we may return to try the ice cream, but we both agree that we can cook our own hot dogs, adding our own condiments at home.

Teens got made to order milkshakes and chilli cheese hotdogs topped with bacon. Will have to go back to try more options. Limited parking. We parked on side of the buildings. They do have a drive thru also.

My other half and I stopped there on a whim. I am glad we did. I think we found the best milkshakes in town. The balance of toppings on the dogs was perfect. I got jalapeños, cheese and bacon on mine. All of the flavors were just the right amount. I especially loved that the jalapeños were chopped up small so no bite was too hot or too mild. The chili on the other dog was a bit sweet for our tastes, but I could see where some people would really like it. I’m from the Detroit area originally, so Detroit style coneys will always beat any other in my mouth. The banana pudding is rich and delicious! They even had a banana free version for my other half who is allergic and didn’t have an epi pen on hand. We will definitely go there again.

Hotdogs and pasta salad were great! Chicago Dog only missing cucumbers 🙂 no indoor seating, however they do have three outdoor tables. Food order was received quickly, great when you have a short lunch.

When I come to Sumter, I always say “I just want a good hot dog”. I don’t like the ones from the fast food places. So I decided to stop here on my way to run some errands. Got the chilli cheese hot dog, chips, pasta salad, and a brownie. Food smelled so good that I pulled in the parking lot to eat. I did NOT regret that decision. Best hotdog and chilli I ever eaten from a restaurant. I was not disappointed. This will definitely be my go to place in Sumter.

Great hot dogs. They come with ketchup, mustard, and onions. You can add chili, cheese, slaw, and jalapeno peppers for an additional $0.25 each. They have a nice selection of milkshakes and ice cream. It was my husband’s and I first time. We both loved it. In the picture is the Cappuccino Crunch large-sized milkshake that I had. It was good but it tasted more like chocolate than cappuccino. My husband had some sort of Caramel milkshake that was out of this world good. We can’t remember the name of it though.
