Small place in Ridgeville. Looks like only open Thursday-Saturday. Small place inside. They did have a buffet which might be better. Little on the warm side on a hot day inside. Did take out of lb of bbq, hash and coke slaw. Bbq was very dry and not much flavor at all. Sauces were real good the mild and hot vinegar based. Hash and Cole were good. Couldn’t eat BBQ by itself without either slaw or tons of sauce because it was so dry. Buffet maybe better it did have fried chicken on there.

Stopped on our way home from Florida because it was a BBQ buffet. Why not… Right? We we extremely happy. We are a family of 4…$17 for adults, $10 for 8-13, and $6 for 4-7. If you’re over 100 you eat for free. All of which includes the buffet, dessert, and your drink. The chicken was cooked perfectly, the pulled pork was amazing. I really like the Smokey bbq and hot mustard. All the sides was good… loved the coleslaw. Didn’t have any room left dessert but they looked amazing.

My family used to frequent Dukes in Ridgeville for many years and it was always good , approx 2 years ago we had multiple bad visits to dukes so we have not been there in approx. 2 years . We decided to give it another shot so on Saturday we went and I can honestly say I will never go back again the place is in total disrepair the roof is leaking and I don’t think the steam table or hot bar was working as the food was not even warm . The bbq was cold and dried out and hard , I honestly don’t know how they could even serve it What a disappointment . I guess I will ride to Walterboro and eat at Dukes there as they have a great food bar . Save your time and money Do Not Eat at Dukes in Ridgeville .
