Duke’s Restaurant and Wine Bar gets five stars all the way around. The live music perfectly complemented the decor and the atmosphere. The staff were very friendly helpful and informative. And the food!! OMG was heavenly. Everything was fresh and cooked to perfection. I had the Angus beef tenderloin, it was so tender it basically melted in my mouth. It was a great way to finish off my Birthday. Definitely looking forward to my next visit

Beautiful atmosphere! We went rather early so it was casual dress. They have a lot of wedding receptions and parties here I am told. They do have different items on their menu that other restaurants do not have. Ex; bear, ox, rabbit, crawfish. You get a soup or salad with your entree along with a small dessert. Microgreens salad with goat cheese was exceptional! Just the right amount of dressing and goat cheese, it was the best part of the meal. The Pozole wasn’t like a regular Pozole, which is ok. It had a beef base with chick peas. It was ok. The bear, ox chop, and rabbit sausage was all in one dish including potatoes, small whole baby turnips, and slaw, in a drowning red wine gravy. Would have liked it to be more separated so that each item could have been tasted. I felt like the red wine was over powering. The seafood melange consisted of scallops, shrimp (with tails on??), sea bass, over a bed of angle hair pasta, smothered in a white cream sauce that tasted like a cream of chicken soup. Seafood was cooked to perfection. The dish wasn’t bad, not my cup of tea. I would like to go back here just to try the different items…and for the salad!!

Beautiful old building with exposed brick, old wood floors and exposed beams and rafters. The food is amazing! Great experience for my wife’s birthday dinner.

I was invited to a Magic Mike traveling women’s night out show by a friend. She bought tickets for us and we trekked our way there Wednesday. I have never been to this venue, but it was easy to find but not clear that we needed to park across the street for this location and event. Their actual parking lot is VERY small, maybe 8-10 parking spaces, MAYBE. The ABC store is located in the same lot, and the gentleman that owns/runs it (The ABC neighboring business) was VERY RUDE, PUSHY and one you did not want to encounter. He was very cross to patrons about the parking lot and nasty to the men at the door of this location and event. We had to go around the block to come back to the across the street parking, as this location is on a one way street. Once inside, the men were friendly, seated us according to our tickets and everything was nice and decorated and clean. The drink menu was limited to certain things for the show I think. It was not a problem at all and the bartenders were helpful and prompt. Everything was so reasonably priced for the show. Premixed drinks, specialty drinks and chicken finger baskets were all only $5 bucks each! Overall a decent venue, clean, friendly and large bar and seating areas inside and out. Updated and roomy and airy, I would consider this place for other outings in the future.

Found this little hidden gem while googling for a new restaurant in the area. We visited on a Saturday night and didn’t have to wait to be seated. Food was great, everyone loved what they got. My seared tuna was awesome. The live piano playing was a nice compliment/distraction since we had to wait over an hour for our food. Was told that kitchen was backed up. It was okay this time around since we had nowhere to be, the atmosphere was nice and food ended up being good (and everyone else seemed to be waiting too). Not sure I’d like to wait that long again though.

Came here for my birthday tonight with my friends and family, everybody was so stuffed and we all left with doggy bags. Everyone was ranting and raving about the food. My brother said it was the best food he’s had since he’s moved from New York and he’s been here for over a year. Service was great atmosphere was awesome. We all will be back!

Every course was excellent. The kale salad was delicious. I had the halibut and scallops and my wife had the beef tenderloin. We finished with Oreo cheesecake! Very relaxed atmosphere. Emory was very knowledgeable, helpful, and did not rush us at all. Can’t wait to go back!
