I knew as soon as my family stepped foot inside this diner that I was going to love this place and I wasn’t wrong. Lou greeted us at the door and made us feel welcome immediately. He was cracking jokes with my kids and invited me to walk around the small diner to look at all the memorabilia. I’d need a full week to digest everything that is on the walls! It’s amazing inside.

If you’re looking for genuine diner vibes, this place is it. Hailing as the oldest diners in Bergen county and one of the oldest in NJ, this diner has it all. The food is amazing (decently priced too) and the service is straightforward. The chef Lou is hilarious and a diner food champion. The vibes of the decor and seating embody a traditional diner. I love it here and I will come back when I visit the area again. I highly recommend the blueberry pancakes and the waffle house omelette (w/ home fries on the side) as pictured 🙂
