The seafood garlic noodles are so good! Highly recommended! Everything else was decent (not amazing but not bad). Beef noodle soup was pretty generous on the meat portion. The Cajun shrimp was ok (Boiling Crab is our all time favorite and nothing beats it). We didn’t get any dumplings this time but they look good so we’ll save it for our next visit!

Came here for date night with the hubby on a Wednesday night. The place was pretty empty with two other occupied tables we got seated immediately. We ordered:

I remember my friends living in Sacramento were so excited when they first had a “boiling crab” in town. This concept of throwing seafood in a bag w/ cajun sauces, corn, sausages and potatoes in a bag and shake it was new and fun. They passed out plastic bibs for your eating pleasure.

This is a new restaurant and my friend and I went there for dinner. It was hard to find a parking spot even though there were some street parking spots. We didn’t need to wait to get our table, and the server was quite nice. The appetizer/cucumber salad was good. The Szechuan boiled fish fillet was okay, just like the regular boiled fish fillet in other places. The blue crab fried rice was okay, although I was expecting something more different. Brisket pot was not that good and my friend complained that the meat was too tough and hard to chew, and I kinda agreed with her. And some of the prices are a bit expensive. Overall, it was not too bad but I will not recommend to my other friends.

The food doesn’t taste good, just moderated. I ordered four dishes, only the cucumber salad taste good to me. Others were too dry (for the beef) or not worthy (for the fish). The fried rice taste okay, but to me, it looks like white rice. Maybe it’s seafood would taste better. But the seafood items and its price did not attract me at all.

Surprisingly authentic Beijing style Chinese food: plentiful and good. The name of the restaurant is a slight misnomer.

There on lunar new year- filled with families. So delicious- dumplings, fried rice were tasty. Very good scallion pancakes. Highly recommend. So easy from SFO too.

Disclaimer. This review is only for the dumpling portion of the restaurant. I will try the cajun part one day.

Authentic Chinese food, plenty dining room and bar top space with wine beers Sojo. Spicy levels can be customized and hit the spot, Shanghai dumplings were juicy, thin dough and hot. Spicy wonton can taste actual shrimps, hot and sour soup were excellent, so as scallion pancake and beef role.

Got the chef special # 2 and XLB and and pan fried pork bao. The flavor of all 3 dish is superb. I really like the slight crunch on the bottom of the pan fried pork bao, also be careful when bitting into it, it is very juicy and will squirt from the other side. XLB skin has more of a chewy texture. Soft shell crab is nicely seasoned but it’s a heavy dish so be mindful when ordering. Though it’s pricy I would comeback for the quality this restaurant offers. Ps there is no picture of XLB because I ate most of it before taking the pictures.
