DunHuang is a restaurant for Chinese noodles. We came on a holiday Monday for lunch. Seating is a bit cramped because the dining area of the restaurant is small, they can fit maybe 5 parties total. I think this place can improve the decor, there wasn’t a whole lot to look at inside.

We ordered the Lanzhou beef noodles, wanton with chili sauce and soup dumpings. Everything was excellent but I especially liked the wanton and beef noodles.

Absolutely delicious! My son who lived in China considers their menu to be a greatest hits list of the foods he ate while there. The zha jiang noodles (like ramen with ground pork) was my personal favorite and not spicy. The dishes we ordered that were labeled spicy were moderate in heat. The coconut drink pairs perfectly with the food. We had both the cumin lamb and the pork “Chinese burgers.” While both were good, I preferred the pork. My only criticism was that the potatoes were al dente for my liking, but otherwise tasty. My son was thrilled with the pan fried noodles. There are a few tables to dine at and they were doing a brisk takeout business. We will absolutely be dining here again. It was worth the long wait for it to open.

Very Authentic Chinese food. The first time I ever had authentic Lanzhou Ramen in the US! 回锅肉is such a big surprise! They chose the best pepper❤️❤️ Better taking out than dining in.

I barely write reviews on google but I really want to write the review to give this store some advice. The food taste really good but the portion is small and the food is kind of over priced. I ordered Lanzhou beef noodle and only got two slice beef and a little bit white radish slices. I also ordered the lamb full dish but it feels like a side dish. The food is really yummy but can you please don’t be that frugal? Or just lower your price…
