This location is small but packs everything you need in a quick in, quick out manner. I was in town for the marathon, which means myself and MANY others needed a coffee at 7am. Despite a line out the door the staff here was friendly and attentive. They got through everyone and there was never a crazy wait, empty pot, or lack of sweet sweet donuts! Newport is a place with lots of originality and chic spots…but it’s nice to know you can still count on Dunkin’ here as well!

Standard Dunkin’ nothing extraordinary. We did notice that the glazed sticks look as though they are half the size as they used to be and they increased the price. They NEVER give you napkins unless you nearly beg for them, I don’t like that at all. It’s alright in a pinch if you are starving…

I am a longtime customer to the Dunkin on Memorial Blvd in Newport. While the food is the same typical Dunkin food, the service has declined, significantly. The staff that is currently in this location are clearly just about a paycheck. There’s no urgency or desire to create a positive experience. My most recent visit was for lunch where I ordered 2 sourdough breakfast sandwiches. Mind you I was the only customer in the store. The person at the counter barely acknowledged me, didn’t show any interest in even being there, no smile and no personality. Just going through the motion. The person making the sandwiches showed the same lack of urgency or concern about how long I had to wait. I watched as she made my order, very slowly. Took them 10 minutes to get me out the door. There’s been many times I’ve walked out because of 2-3 people in line. I own a local business and don’t have that kind of time to wait for staff members at this location. I can’t say I’ll be coming back in spite of the fact there’s only 2 places I can go for a (quick) lunch.
