I want to thank the manager Eric for taking the time to address and rectify a previous experience I had. Overall this place is really nice! Happy Hour is my favorite. 10/10 for The vibes, live music, food and drinks. Don’t be fooled by the small cups, the drinks are strong and does what it suppose to do I do want to say it is best to get there early to get a good parking space and seat of choice. I will be back, this is my new spot!

Most of the Waitresses have a bad attitude and unprofessional disposition. It is bad business to have people serving customers who do not show the customers that they are not valued. Since COVID, Tips are automatically inculded in the bill. With that, they really do not provide any service beyond bare minimum. It is totally the opposite when sitting at the bar, where service is always excellent. Customer service should be consistent from the bar to the floor. There is nothing cute about acting ugly, no matter how great you personally think you are. Ego should not ever trump great service. This has always been Duo’s downfall. Ignorance will always diminish the standard of an establishment if it I is allowed. Train waitresses to know that it is all about the people who are spending their hard earned dollars, the customers, and not them.

This joint is a joke!!!! The waitress added extra drinks AND her own tip on my credit card bill after I tipped her in cash and left the restaurant. When I received my bank statement, I noticed that along with ANOTHER bill where they entered my credit card number to pay for drinks I’ve NEVER drank in my life and forged my signature (my bank mgr even said it wasn’t a very good forgery). Allowing my bank to stop any transactions with Duos, I called and requested a meeting with a manager; who defended his staff and denied any wrongdoing, went to the restaurant and saw a female mgr, showed her my signature from my license along with copies of both receipts, not only did she also deny any fraudulent activity she also told the doorman to bar my sister and I from ever being allowed back in their establishment!!! Our interaction was done in private, there was no scene made so if they didn’t have anything to hide, why bar us? My sister never said one word during the entire conversation! Protect your identity from this farce of a respectable restaurant because they clearly hire and accept fraudulent behavior from their staff. So called managers need to attend a training seminar, wait staff needs to ride with them, the owners need to know and address complaints effectively before they end up being closed down due to non-patronage. Treat people with respect or those same people will start patronizing venues that will. I have no desire to ever grace this place with my presence and money and even if I did, I couldn’t because I’ve now been barred for questioning charges SMDH

If you have never been here before call before you go to ask the cover charge, valet cost, and dress code. My husband and I came here on our anniversary however we never got to go in after paying the $20 for valet the bouncer then informed us they had a dress code and we didn’t meet the requirements.

Zero is not an option!!! Me and my friends were treated horrible at this establishment. I met my friends for after work drinks. Upon my arrival my friends were seated in the outdoor patio area, it began to rain so myself and another friend went indoors to look for seating. A couple allowed us to sit with them. Because some our party was back and forth I think the young wait staff was getting confused. I ordered fries while waiting for other friends to come in from the patio. Once I receive them I was going back out to let the ladies to know they could come in to sit. A waitress ran up to me very aggressively and said did we forget about the fries as myself and another friend tried to explain what we were doing she told us we looked like we were running out with the fries. At that point I gave her $10 cash because she told me that was the cost. I went back to her asking for a receipt and my $1 change. Once our party was back in side sitting, I placed a drink order, bill was $14.40 I pd 1450 she brought me back 10 pennies with a receipt. I left change on the table with the receipt. Another waitress comes over and accuses my friend of not paying her bill, which a different waitress cashed her out. At this point it was obvious the waitresses did not like us and didn’t want to deal with us. A young lady came over who said she was the manager ( blonde braids in photo) with 3 other waitresses asked us to leave when asked why she could not tell us. We all were looking like what is going on. I began to video and take pics another manager approached asked what’s the problem I explained no problem we were asked to leave so that’s what we’re doing. At any point the manager or one of the waitresses could’ve said the back and forth is causing an issue but to be rude and act like we want steal fries and drinks was a bit ridiculous. This was my second and last time going to this establishment. The City of Detroit has establishment just like this and treat the customers with much more respect.
