Absolutely terrific BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich. Tender and juicy pork with a great smoky sauce and grilled (not toasted) bun. I got the coleslaw side since it’s the perfect addition to a PPS, and Durango’s coleslaw is top notch. A health dose of Smoked Tabasco made for a sublime sand. Kudos to the servers, and the proprietor. 5 star experience and easily one of if not the best PPS I’ve yet had.

The place isn’t much to look at on the outside however the food and service was really good. I imagine this is the place the locals go. We had the pulled pork sandwich and the soup sandwich combo. Both were good.

I did not eat or drink anything but water here. I mostly gambled and I lost but it was fun. The gambling is in the bar it slot machines. There is a restaurant connected to it. It’s a nice family down home restaurant. Great place for friends to meet up and have a cup of coffee and some laughs. Very friendly place.

I Eat here every time I go by Superior. Excellent food, I like the Cuban sandwich. Breakfasts are huge and excellent. A good variety of micro beers are on tap. Service is typical of a small town, with wonderful servers. The meal is worth a short wait. I have stopped here to eat for years. I highly recommend this establishment.

I tried Durango’s twice, last September, 2022, when I was just moving to Superior. I had lunch. The food was terrible. I decided to give it another shot a month ago… June 2023. It was even worse than I remembered. Not only was the food terrible (and over-priced), but the service was unprofessional and very unfriendly. Did not want to tip at all – my daughter was an excellent, popular waitress for a few years when she was younger, and made very good money in tips. Bad service killed the deal for me. I won’t be back.

Our wait was an 1 1/2 hours for our food on a reasonably quiet night. It was all terrible. I ordered their roast beef dinner and was served sliced deli meat. The side of steamed broccoli was undercooked and crunchy. The chicken fried steak was undercooked and so salty that it was inedible and sent back. The side of tater tots were cold, old, and also undercooked. The chicken strip dinner was $13 and she was given ONE small strip and a side salad. The bread on the patty melt was old, stale, and inedible. Both that hamburger patty and the one we ordered from the kids menu were raw in the middle. We let our server know our concerns and she was apologetic. The only recompense offered was “would you like another chicken strip?” Our bill came and even though only one of us choked down the food, we were charged full price for everything. Even the food sent back. It was over $100. They eventually adjusted the charge but we had to get angry for that to be offered. We could see and hear fighting between staff in the kitchen the entire time. Two other groups of patrons walked out while we were there. The signs and menu clearly say BBQ. There isn’t a single BBQ item offered. The only good thing we got was their fried pickle appetizer. It was well cooked and served fresh. If you want anything other than fried pickles, try somewhere else. Myself and the others I was with will not be returning.

The chef salad left much to be desired. Large chunks of iceberg that I had to rip apart and only a few measly strands of lunch meat. I wish I could rate it better since I’m pretty easy to please, but it wasn’t worth it and I wouldn’t go back. The waitress was friendly but the food took quite a while and wasn’t worth the wait.

I got to this place on my way traveling for breakfast, I had the veggie skillet and huckleberry pancake, the skillet is amazing , the right portion of scrambled eg and veggies, it is very clear the veggies are hand diced. It was so delicious, the huckleberry pancake is full of huckleberry, and their maple syrup taste natural with the right amount of sweetness, the first idea came to my mind when I tasted the syrup it must have not any added sugars.
