Great atmosphere, great friendly staff and best of all, great food! We had Famous Dave’s the night before and weren’t impressed, tried here tonight and we’ll be back again before we leave Montana! Super friendly staff, prompt to take our order and answer a few questions about my allergies! Everyone walking by makes sure you don’t need anything, not just your server! The ribs and brisket were absolutely delicious! The chicken wasn’t my thing but in my opinion, everything else made up for it so i wasn’t even slightly disappointed! They had live music in the bar but we sat towards the back in a smaller dining room, music levels were perfect and make the atmosphere that much better for a Saturday night out!

If you’re in town, stop by this place. Great BBQ food. I had the brisket plate, and my buddy had the ribs plate. Both were excellent. The jalapeno poppers wrapped in bacon were great as well, it comes with four. My pic only shows two since we ate the other two.Pour some of their sauce on and enjoy.

We enjoyed the food and service. Nice sized portions. The fries were great – crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. They had (3) BBQ sauces but we only liked the original – other two were Wild Turkey and Habanero Peach. The meat had a great smoked flavor. Between the three of us, we had the 1/4 chicken, ribs, and pulled pork. The chicken and ribs were great. Our waitress was very friendly and good. Mondays had a 1/2 off pints so that was a good deal!

Best BBQ around – I recommend the “Hot Mess” sandwich. Side of mac n cheese is topped with crushed flamin hot Cheetos! Fantastic friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. Sit at the bar and make new friends.

an honest, review with no animosity, ( low hanging fruit for ownership), 1. do not charge $16 for an overcooked, frozen, dry burger when you dont even toast the bun. hint: use real butter if you do. 2. stop using frozen corn, it tastes like plastic and chefs know the difference. 3. flush the tap lines again. last time didnt do the trick. 4. wings are good, tip: brine longer before smoking. and MAKE YOUR OWN BLEU CHEESE! its super easy and tastes better than the premade chemical grossness. Cleanliness is high, A+ …keep it that way.

Had a pleasant experience with our family. I think they were shocked by a family with 2 adults and 9 kids, but they sat us down and served us well. We have issues finding a place to eat around here that can accommodate us and there were no issues. The food was really good, some of the best BBQ we’ve had in Kalispell. The servers were really nice too. Would definitely return.

Great bar! The main bar is so welcoming. I Love all the games, buck hunter, shuffle board, darts & the pool table. The BBQ is amazing! The newly renovated Pioneer Room has such a nice dining room & classy feel to bar. Loving the live music on the weekends!

Went here for dinner last night! We don’t have many good places in the valley to go out to for dinner so we decided To try the Dust star and we were sure happy we did! The food was awesome prices were great and service was so fast. I will definitely go back and will recommend the Dusty star to anyone looking for good food and great experience
