Today we had our staff lunch with a total of 16 people. So our waitress had her hands full. She made a few mistakes, but nothing major and totally understandable! I had the BLT with a side of fries, and it was the perfect meal to start my summer off with. Not a fan of the prices, but I definitely will go back for the amazing food!

Took an old friend here today. It is a little drive from South KCMO but worth it. Was a beautiful day; clear sky blue and sunny. Our waitress was wonderful. We had coffees, breakfast and took home 1 cinnamon roll and 1 berry fried pie. Everything was great!

We were out of town visiting from OKC. I’m not normally a diner/cafe kind of person but I have to agree this place is wonderful. The service was fantastic. The coffee from their special coffee shop was one of the best I’ve ever had. It was a honey maple breve and looked like it should have been in a magazine. The french toast was also good. Everyone was very friendly and our waitress was very attentive and just fantastic. I can see why it had such great reviews. Thanks for welcoming out of towners!

This restaurant is amazing! I’m so glad my friend drove me over to Garnet to try it out. I’ve been there 4 times now in the past 3mos. I have not had a bad meal there yet. I try something new everytime I go there. Their pies are absolutely amazing also!! I can’t leave there without taking a piece of pie home with me. I’ve also bought their bread, dinner rolls and sticky buns. They’re absolutely delicious also. The hard part is remembering that they close at 2pm and don’t open back up for dinner.
