I spent alot if my teenage years at Huntington Beach in the late 70’s and early 80’s. I know the chips and cheese are just that. But with that sweet barely spicy sauce it just works. To most might sound crazy but Dwight’s was the place that had these. I enjoyed them then and Whenever in the area always get them again. Great teenage memories at Huntington always included these chips !!!

Food alright. I just need something to fill my stomach instead of going fancy with near by eateries. Fish and chip was kinda too oily for me. Came with 2 sauces with no coleslaw. The strawberry and banana smoothie was very disappointing. I thought it would be thick and fruity. Instead, it was just a slushy to me. Beautiful day to stroll along the board walk and enjoy the beach and pier. There were only 3 tables on the side, but they were all taken when I was there so I ate on the beach.

Such a great place to get an ice cream on the boardwalk. The Strips with Cheese are nostalgic to HB

Ordered the cheese strips, I don’t get it! Not sure why everybody loves this. A minute in a microwave would make sense.

Very nice to eat some fish and chips next to the water. A bit slow service but they seemed to know what they were doing.

The original….My dad took me to the beach in 1963 and we always had strips w cheese and Dwight’s famous sauce. It is still a family favorite! Other food good, too!

I grew up going to Huntington Beach on the weekends and we would always get some Cheese Strips. Brings back fond childhood memories of the 70s! I still visit on my trips home just to get an order.

I grew up in Huntington Beach. Dwight’s Beach Concession was my first summer job. This was summer 1968. It was a great place to work in the summer. Every summer I make it a habit to go back to Dwight’s and have a burger and some soft strips. The burgers are old school style, fresh hot and very tasty. The soft strips are hard to find anywhere else and the hot sauce is perfect. I love this place and will go back each summer and get a burger for as long as I live.

Got “world famous cheese strips” and some chili cheese fries. Chili cheese fries were good but the cheese strips were literal tortilla chips with shredded cheese on top with a side sauce similar tasting to chamoy sauce. Didn’t enjoy those personally

There really is nothing I love at this place except for one thing. In fact I will tell you that I have tried other things here are they are simply OK.
