Tonight was the first time my husband and I had dinner at “Dyes Bar and Grill”! The waitress told us about the featured dinner item which was pulled pork or brisket over macaroni and cheese. We chose the brisket, macaroni and cheese that was very good but it could use a little more barbecue sauce and maybe add a little kick with some jalapenos or salsa.

This is one of my 10 best little bars in America. Family owned, it feels like your at your best friend’s entertainment room. Simplistic, and laid back, yet done really well. All the little touches that let’s you know that this is where the owner spends his days with joy. The price is just right. The bar feels like a labour of love and not an over priced watered down money grab.

I went to Dyes to host a comedy show and had no idea what to expect. As soon as I arrived I felt like family there. Everybody treats everyone with love and it’s impossible to have a bad time there! To be included in that during my first visit means I can’t wait to come back for the second time!
