I purchased the half slab of ribs. Meat was ok, not as tender as I would have expected and the sauce is vinegar based, so it was kind of watery, I like thick sauce on my ribs. Service was fast. Not bad! I would come again!

Hubs said he’s hungry and stopping at the first “Ma & Pa” restaurant we find. Waze sent us down Old Marion Hwy on a traffic detour, and I’m so glad it did! We tried the 2 pulled pork sandwiches with slaw and the sliced beef (brisket) sandwich with slaw. The food was fresh, hot & delicious. We should have gone back for the D’z Platter, so we would’ve had some leftovers! Oh! I had a chocolate chip cookie while waiting for our food, yum! They also had a few cake choices, so you should definitely get dessert too!

Really Great barbecue. (Their little trick of having smoke out front is a great idea. It caught our attention, added a psychological element and I wouldn’t want to have missed trying their great barbecue ! ) I myself didn’t go inside. (And I didn’t figure out where their bathroom was. ..maybe around back ..? ) It looks like a little whole in the wall place but great barbecue . And it was with cole slaw. Yum!

VERY DISAPPOINTED! I’ve always heard that i needed to stop in and give these guys a shot. I did. I wasted my money. I ordered the rib basket, on a Saturday at lunch time. The menu said it would come with 3 ribs and a bun. I got 6 tiny pieces of ribs loaded in sauce and it was still too dry to eat. I think it was reheated from earlier this week. It was not good. I did get fries with it and the fries was very good. The boy who waited on me didn’t seem too enthused to be there, so service was terrible and food was as well. I like the set up, but will never go back.

Rolled up here on Easter Sunday, traveling to see family. We were very impressed, everything we had was outstanding. We had the BBQ platter, advertised for two, and more than enough for two. The ribs and the slaw in particular were extraordinary. We also ordered a small baked beans, and a small really is very small – just a tasting portion – but do you really want more baked beans than that? (The beans were excellent as well, btw.) Fantastic place, would stop by again.

Finally gave it a try after passing by it soooo many times in 4 yrs. Mom always says good food is in off the wall places. Moms are always right… the saying goes. My hubby, mom and I stopped in for lunch on the way to Georgia. 2 pulled pork sandwiches, beef brisket sandwich and fries. Fries were hot and a good serving size. All 3 sandwiches were great. The woman who waited on us had a very friendly personality. Overall our first experience was a great one. I highly recommend and will eat here again next time mom visits.

We were very dissatisfied with the food! I would have to say after living my entire life in the south this was the worst barbecue we have ever tasted! We spent almost $80….the ribs were dry and smoked too long, had no seasoning only tasted the smoke, the potato salad was not good at all, the coleslaw was slimy. Not sure if it was made days before or what but we noticed when we opened the container it didn’t smell right. It was slimy! The baked beans were cold and tasted like they came straight out of the can! They were not seasoned. We were told they were “seasoned with their BBQ sauce” but there was no taste besides tasting as if they came out of the can and were ice cold. The pulled BBQ had no flavor as well as the ribs, only tasted smoke! The brisket was horrible. It was in a plastic container and floated in grease. There was no flavor at all. Definitely would not recommend. Not sure where some other of the other reviewers ate at it that gave it a good review, maybe this is the type of barbeque they are used to, but for us it’s a definitely no. We have never tasted anything like it! And we do not mean that in a good way!
