Ordered the Naree’s Noodles with chicken. Staff was very helpful in choosing an order and the food came out within 10-15 mins or so. The ramen as it comes is somewhat bland for Thai food but I went back up and asked for something to spice it up a bit. She gave me a honey red pepper sauce, sriracha, and a spicy sweet and sour sauce. I chose to put the honey red pepper sauce on the noodles and it really helped out the flavor. Will definitely come back as this is a really cool spot to bring the family so that everyone can choose what they like from the other food trucks.

I’ve never tried the food from here before, and was pleasantly surprised. I ordered teriyaki chicken with rice and veggies and some pork egg rolls, then we met up with friends at Pensacola Bay Brewery to eat at the outside tables, have a good beer and listen to some live music. The meal was so good I didn’t want to get full! It was just the right temperature, everything seemed very fresh, the egg rolls were crispy and the dipping sauce was delicious! Glad I had leftovers. I played tennis Saturday morning, and kept thinking about my food from ESaan when I got home. Great job, guys!

I’m a little underwhelmed. Admittedly, I am not an expert on Thai Street food. That being said, I have eaten Thai food at several restaurants and have come to expect some flavor in the various dishes I’ve ordered. The cashier recommended the Gai Yang, which was described as having a tangy dipping sauce. I received and tasted my food, and it was strikingly bland. I asked about the apparently missing sauce and the response I received was confused. I was told that even though the menu said it came with the sauce, it was actually for the wings, not my menu item. I got the sauce anyway, and it really didn’t do much to improve the flavor.

The food tasted good and service was good. But I would hardly call it “Thai food”. Ordered the Thai basil, it was basically an American’s version of “Asian stir fry”, it tasted pretty good but didn’t taste anything like Thai. Didn’t even have Thai basil in the dish… talking with the cook, didn’t seem to have any idea of what Thai dishes where called.

I feel disappointed, never gave a 1 star review, but this hit too close to home, Thai food is a wonderful gastronomical experience, and this places is not. The chicken teriyaki was boiled not grilled, the rice is microwave made, the noodles are insta-noodles, every plate is 11 to 12 dollars, not cheap or expensive, but you are in a corner of flavor. Next to the restaurants, you have Latin food 1 of the best in Pensacola, next Mexican tacos, like a Mexican friend said when we ate there “I feel in Mexico”, and in front is a very good macaroni and cheese establishment. All try their best to be good, E-Saan Thai not so much. The staff is rude, the food is bad.

Will never eat here again. Almost 30-minute wait. Both blenders sitting with leftover contents, ingredients open on counter the entire time, and bad food in the end. Really wanted to like it. Just couldn’t. Won’t try again. Sad.
