I have been coming to the sushi spot for years and this has always been my secret place that I share with clients and good friends anytime we’re looking for a special treat. Most of the inventory is flown in from Japan and all of the chefs are trained and very friendly. I’ve met with the owner John and he is the best host and restaurant owner any customer could ask for. He is very friendly, he remembers who you are and he treats you like family. I would come back for the quality of service alone. The sushi is fresh and all of the rolls are expertly crafted. We come here for the high quality sashimi, the presentation and flavor

Cool little sushi spot next to a couple other restaurants we also want to check out. There’s indoor & outdoor tables or sit at the sushi bar. We had a few cut rolls and some sashimi. Highly approve and would definitely go back again to try some other stuff

We enjoyed the food, service was fairly quick and good flavor. The Thomas Roll was very tasty but smaller than I expected, and at $21 per bottle we found the Nigori was the most expensive we have ever paid in the area

First time here since new ownership. Was able to get a table fairly quick, took awhile before we were approached for drink order and was able to squeeze in a couple appetizers. The restaurant was full so it took a while to get the appetizers and order the rest of the food.

This place is always busy, but it’s such a chill and welcoming place. The food is great. The pic below is I think the hungry roll, but I’m not 100%positive. However the food is absolutely delicious and it’s always consistent. I’ve gone to other sushi places which the food had been made inconsistently. The prices here are decent too and a great place for date night.

This is a phenomenal restaurant! Albacore sashimi in ponzu sauce is my favorite. The owners (Amy and John) create a fantastic atmosphere and provide excellent service. The head chef Ray curates a great menu. This is my favorite sushi spot in Eastern LA county. Beer is cold and fish is fresh!

A better sushi, better sashimi. Spot on for some good raw fish and rolls. This place is the best in town, no doubt. Had their special for a special occasion and guests absolutely delighted. Totally worth it, and was honestly surprised to find good quality sushi in Whittier!

The Sushi was so good!!! They were also so nice to my daughter. We had got there pretty late, but they didn’t rush us and even told us not to worry. It was our first time here and we will be back for sure!

First time visitor to this spot. Small and cozy interior with tables and sushi bar. Great menu with colorful pictures that has a lot of sushi choices and udon and rolls that have other meats for those that may not be a fan of fish. Seriously some of the best sashimi I’ve ever had. This is my first time visiting and I’ll definitely be back!
