The veranda at the Eagle Landing Tavern has one of the best settings for a romatic lunch or dinner in all of the White Mountains! The food is good, the prices reasonable and the service generally excellent. We did have a bit of a hiccup in dinner service while dining there the first time, but the restaurant manager and staff, includig Zara at the hotel front desk, couldn’t have done more to apologize and make the situation right. Looking forward to returning again soon!

Wonderful atmosphere and great food. Fun to sit out on the veranda with fantastic drinks. A terrific summer spot.

Great place to get a late lunch. I was kind of worried that they wouldn’t serve lunch around 2pm but the staff were extremely friendly and we had a great delicious meal. Our server (from the bar) was soooo nice. Best server, so friendly. The vibes of this place was also great, you have the mountain views, cool afternoon breeze under the shade of the patio. 10/10 would eat here again.

Overall a good experience, I’d say, although not without some issues. Food was great. My lobster bisque and blackened fish tacos were delicious. My partner had the short ribs which were good but not great. Prices are on the higher end but it’s not egregious considering the food was good and you’re paying into the atmosphere. On that note, the atmosphere is pretty laid back. Classy but also casual. The view is what makes the atmosphere though. You can’t beat sitting on the porch looking at the mountains while enjoying a beverage. What this place lacks is proper service. I appreciated my waitress’ positive attitude. She seemed a bit overwhelmed though which isn’t her fault entirely. Maybe she was given one too many tables? We ended up receiving our soups with our entrees which wasn’t great. By the time my partner and I started digging into our entrees, they were barely warm. We asked for certain things like an extra plate or water and either it took 5+ minutes to get or we didn’t get it at all. Also, whoever was the bartender was very rude. Just straight up cold and unfriendly. So overall, service needs a lot of work at this place. If they can either staff more so the wait staff isn’t overextended or if they can train employees on customer service skills, this restaurant would be top notch.

Overlooking the golf course and the beautiful mountains of New Hampshire you can’t go wrong with sitting, reading and loving the view. Our bartender suggested some drink specials we finished while chatting with new friends on the porch.

My wife and I went there for lunch, wasn’t busy at all. We placed our order and We didn’t have very good service at all, no ice cubes in any of our drinks, I received my order and my wife did not receive her food at all .Waitress wasn’t very focused on her job. Food was not very good either, high prices for average food. We will not be returning there, nor would I recommend going there to anyone. Very disappointed.

Great food, relaxed but elegant vibe, and gracious staff. We ordered crab cakes (which was my favorite part), short rib, lobster ravioli, and two salads. Everything was delicious!

I absolutely love this place. There has been many changes as we had last been about 25 years prior, which made it a much more comfortable dining experience. The food and service were very good. I would definitely recommend this to anyone, the short ride is absolutely beautiful running parallel to a beautiful mountain stream.

I could ride out the rest of my days having drinks in a rocking chair on the big porch. The view is fantastic. What an awesome place to relax
