The food has always been great when I come here, unfortunately the prices are a little on the steep side. I tried a gamecock today. It was great. Would definitely recommend. Depending on ur pockets or budget and of course tastes, u will spend about $15 or more for a sandwich and drink.

I paid over 30 dollars for 2 sandwiches which is now half the size they once were. When I made it home, we noticed they didn’t put the Ruben sauce on the Chief Ruben and didn’t put onions on the Tesse’s Turkey. Before I headed back to the restaurant, I called to let them know about the sauce and decided to overlook the onions. They never once apologized on the phone or in person and they were short with me when I picked up the sauce. Everything is high right now but that doesn’t excuse the poor service. This place is not as good as it once was. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere.

We visit East Bay Deli often and sometimes customer service is less than ideal, but this visit was great. The cashier was very nice. My daughter was excited to get her meal for free. I will also add that I was that day years old when I found out they add a surcharge to credit card purchases. We eat there often and have never been told this. I just happened to have cash that day and the cashier mentioned that my total would be less.

Food is good, as always but… 3.5 % added charge if you don’t pay with cash?? (non-cash fee they call it now) two grown-up sandwiches & sides, one kids meal, and only one drink, cookie. $41 bucks, which is okay I guess, but to not give me a cup with a lid, for my kids water… the looks like I was being a cheapskate for asking, getting water. No thanks, you can keep it.

Terrible. I ordered a 1/2 sandwich with one trip salad bar as listed on their menu. Apparently the young lady taking my order couldn’t grasp that concept and had to ask someone else what to do. Instead of staying to watch and learn she shrugged her shoulders and walked away. My sandwich did not come as ordered and the salad bar was a disappointment. Literally half of the items were all gone and when I asked about it the lady making my salad said they had a rush earlier. No offer was made for any of the items I wanted or any attempt made to replenish anything the entire time I was there. I was there around 1:30 and it wasn’t busy at all but instead of working (and maybe refill the salad bar) the staff behind the counter was laughing and cutting up. Funny, I didn’t get a discount because the salad bar was extremely depleted, I paid full price for my meal. My suggestion is to save your money and aggravation and eat somewhere else.
