I’m not sure what to do about my experience today at east China… so I figured I would share a picture of what was in my food. I don’t know about you but I eat most of my food without fly’s in it. This is unfortunate because the food was delicious but leads me to believe that the kitchen’s cleanliness must be poor.

Ordered take out. Food was fantastic! Fresh! Sesame chicken was crispy. Shrimp and scallops were tender and tasty in garlic sauce. Will continue to eat from this restaurant. Noted dining room was full, while waiting.

East China USED to be our go to for Chinese food. The food quality has changed drastically. The texture of the chicken is tough and almost woody. The sauces are bland and lifeless.

I changed my review from 4 stars to 3, because although the service is great and friendly there is no consistency to the food. One time it’s great and next time it’s just so so. I love Hot and Sour Soup, but am always hesitant to order it. It’s not very good most of the time. Once in awhile you get some that’s good, but mostly it’s either to sour, or too hot, or too salty. I like spicy, but want to taste my food not just heat. Not sure what the problem is. To many different cooks? Your dishes need to be consistent, so regular customers know what they are getting. We order often and never now if it’s going to be good or not.

This is by far the best Chinese restaurant Ive found in years possibly ever. the owner’s are friendly and personable and its family run, the inside is warm and inviting with just a few tables. I almost always order take out , its one of my family’s favorite places to order from on family night , the food is consistent (always perfect). WARNING !!!!!, if you eat here you may never eat anywhere else again 🙂 …….. ITS THAT GOOD !
