Tried East Gate Luncheonette in Waterbury for breakfast. Don’t let the junky parking lot fool you, it’s pretty nice inside. Service was fast and friendly. Coffee was hot, food items were a bit cold. Good prices and standard breakfast fare.

Ordered an egg sausage & cheese… what I got was 1 egg, 2 sausage links & a slice of american cheese on a poppy seed roll. The sandwich was basically ROLL. Very dissatisfied for a $6 sandwich. Never ever saw any restaurant put only ONE egg on a breakfast sandwich. Their homefries were edible.
