I love East Moon Asian Bistro!! I literally have been going there since at least 2005. I am addicted to their sesame chicken. It’s so flavorful and the chicken is cooked just right. Their peanut salad dressing is delicious. It is also in a very convenient location. It is right next to spring creek trail. The staff have always been lovely and accommodating.

We have been bringing our kids here since they were babies and loved the noodles back then. Now it’s still a favorite for our big kids and they love the sushi here. We have lots of options closer to home but still choose East Moon for the quality of the sushi and atmosphere.

Cool looking place and the people are super nice but the food sucks. I even went twice to make sure. However I have never tried there sushi. But if you like large uncooked veggies to big to eat and want to cut your green pepper into bite size pieces then this is the spot for you. But me if I’m paying for food and they isn’t all that cheap here, if like it cooked and chopped into small little pieces at least small enough to have some rice and a few veggies in the same bite type size.

This restaurant should learn how to treat customers better!!!! We wanted Sushi and it was the only restaurant open at 9pm, we decided to give it a try regardless of the bad reviews it has. We arrived one hour prior the closure time, the receptionist seemed to be annoyed by seeing us. She starts looking at her watch and making angry face, when we asked if it it too late, she impolitely replied; I don’t know what’s time is it but we close at 10. She took the menus and starts walking to the table, we made a U turn and left right away. We didn’t feel welcomed at all, and this review it regarding the behavior not the food.

I’m puzzled by some of the low ratings. My wife and I are not fussy, but we are particular, and last night’s delivery dinner was top notch. We were told that the order would take 25 minutes to prep and deliver. It arrived in 15 – piping hot, very carefully packaged. The two wonton soup orders were sealed in plastic bags as an extra precaution. The grilled pork loin had an unexpected smoky flavor. A bit dry, but that’s the risk with lean pork. Tasty and satisfying nonetheless and the dryness was not a reason to take away a star. The mussels were fresh-tasting and large. The tempura was hot, crunchy, and made for a great app. The wonton soup was traditional except that the wontons were sized smaller than you’d expect, but there were many in each serving. The steamed shrimp Shumai were chewy and also tasty, especially the dipping sauce. The flavor of the shrimp came through. I used the YELP delivery search feature (THANKS YELP DESIGNERS!), which gave me an opportunity to not only search Asian restaurants but also compare menus and prices. East Moon’s prices were in line with many other similar restaurants. BTW, BONUS – NO delivery fee! As another yelper commented, you can order online but not pay online. They will in fact call you for your credit card – FAST. I’m ok with that process. Don’t know the reason for this. Maybe to prevent fraud? In any event, East Moon has been here for many, many years and we’ve not eaten here for some time, mainly because of having so many choices in this great town, but because of last night’s positive experience, we will add East Moon to our regular rotation.
