After a long day of traveling, we found ourselves on a stretch of interstate with few options. Scanning Google maps for any upcoming options, my son find East of Chicago 17 miles away. Reviews looked promising, but ya never know what you’re gonna get in random small towns. Upon turning off the interstate, we were initially worried. We didn’t see much of anything. A few miles down a lonely stretch, a darling little town suddenly came into view. As we pulled into the lot for East of Chicago, we admired the quaintness of a cozy small town, complete with beautiful murals on the sides of really old buildings.

Great pizza in downtown Warren! They have great pizza, wings, and subs as well! Staff is always friendly. The buffet has changed in response to the Covid pandemic. They catered a sub employee lunch for my workplace, and everyone loved it!

Fun surprise popping into East of Chicago with 5 kids after a full day of swimming at Pine Lake. Great find. Buffett was a big win. Kids and adults left happy with full bellies. Staff was really kind and attentive. Final bill was more than I would have guessed. Wish the Buffett price was posted or displayed in a way that I would have known what to expect.

We had a party of 3 and our food came out staggered but one was so delayed that 2 of the 3 were done eating by the time the 3rd person finally got her food! Waitress barely checked on us and we had to wait an unreasonable amount of time for our check. Food was at least decent.

This place is SO good! We stopped at the Comfort Inn off of I-69. We were happy to find that they delivered! The entire experience was great, very friendly staff that took the order and the delivery guy was great as well with a quick delivery and friendly manner. The pizza was the BEST!! I’ve never tried the Chicago style, so we went with the Hawaiian and a Chicago melt on the Chicago style crust, it was so delicious! Our favorite was the Hawaiian. Lots of toppings piled up on those medium pizzas, thanks for a great pizza!
