East of Chicago has been one of my favorite pizza places since the early 90’s. Having just moved to the falls, I was happy to see there was an EOC here. This location is just as good as any I’ve been to. I know they’re famous for their pan crust, but I actually think the thin crust, not the crispy one, but the hand tossed thin is my favorite. The website is a little wonky, but it gets the job done. The delivery guy was all about business, but nice enough. Will always be one of my go-to pizza places.

Never received our pizza. Ordered at 7:45 pm. Food still hadn’t arrived by 9:45, so I called the restaurant only to get a recording saying it was closed. No way to find out if our pizza was on its way, or if the order got cancelled or what. Meanwhile I had to scramble to try and find something else to feed my hangry kid before bed. So aggravating.

Attempted to use the coupon below. They refused to honor the price on the coupon. I requested a 1 topping pizza and the Tower specialty pizza. They wanted to charge an additional $2 because I requested the Tower. I asked if the Tower was a specialty pizza and they answered yes. I then asked why they are charging an additional $2 to the coupon price and they said they always do for the Tower. I said that is not honoring the coupon. Their response was that most people don’t select the Tower as the specialty pizza. (logically, that doesn’t make sense…based on popular selection you are not honoring the coupon?) Then they tried the oh, the coupon says that the Tower is an exception and there is a $2 up charge. I told them that the coupon does not say that and then this manager basically said I was lying. I told him I would bring the coupon in and show him and he still refused to honor the coupon. There is even another coupon in the add stating the Tower is a specialty pizzza. Are they going to up charge $2 for that coupon too…according to his reponse to me he will! Wow…what a lousy customer service. Maybe there was a mistake in printing the coupon but to not honor it over $2 and lose customers? I guess that’s their way of doing business but it won’t be my business nor others that I will inform of this situation.

Walked in and ordered the food because they did not answer the phone not one time. Got the food, pizza was cold like it was made 1 hour ago I live literally 10 minutes away. Called like 10 times, nobody answered the phone. When I called back the next day as soon as they opened I was told there was nothing they could do, no store credit, no refund, no nothing. Then I was told maybe if I called back then they could have done something. When I told them to check their call log my number is definitely there over 10 times in a row was told again nothing they could do. Had to call corporate on them, what kind of service is this? You screw up someone’s order and tell them there’s nothing you can do? The food was so cold I was concerned it may have not been cooked enough and possibly could get food poisoning. BTW was told the real manager is on “Vacation” and I can’t talk to him right now. Disgusting service, will NEVER be back so sick and tired of wasting hard earned money on trash service and products.

Called to place an order at 8:30pm. Guy answers, asked if they had any specials going, he said yes and proceeded to tell me the specials and then says but we’re not taking any more orders tonight, they don’t close until 9. Worst customer service I’ve received in a very long time and this location will never receive my business again

Decent food. Pizza had good flavor all though I paid 11 dollars for a small BBQ chicken pizza which was stingy on the toppings. Averaged less than 2 small crouton sized pieces of chicken per slice. Perfect amount of sauce. Chefs salad was good. Might return or recommend.

I ordered a pizza, when it got to my house it was wrong. So I called them, and they gave me another one for free, no hassle on my end. Great customer service and friendly delivery drivers as well. The kindness of the drivers themselves is a big reason I’m a reoccurring customer. TIP YOUR DRIVER! Food is good too.

Ordered 2 medium pizzas and garlic bread . Over 2 hours to get delivered after initially being told 30 minutes . The second time I called to check on my order the guy who answered the phone hung up on me . None of the staff I spoke with seemed to care . When I asked to come pick it up I was told the driver just left and would be here in 3 minutes and finally showed up 25 minutes later. When my order finally got here , it was WRONG and COLD .I Will NEVER order again !!

I placed an order online for a $12.99 special that somehow came to $13.99. I chose delivery and was sent an email stating a 45 minute wait. After an hour I called in to be told they were swamped and that it would be another 20 minutes. I decided to pick the pizza up, asking for the delivery fee to be removed. After a couple of unproductive moments on the phone I was told it would be handled. When I finally got my pizza the receipt I had to sign was for $15.99. So, I asked for the right amount. A different reciept with the correct amount ($13.99) but with “customer copy” was given to me to sign. After dinner I checked my bank account to see that $15.99 was deducted from my account. I understand when a place is busy. I worked in a kitchen for a long time. But I also understand good customer service. Call your customers when orders run late or maybe offer a free appetizer or a coupon. Something. But it’s too late. I’ll no longer order from East of Chicago.
