The Smokehouse is an old Montana lodge with a fireplace burning in winter and a shady flower filled patio for summer outdoors dining. The huge lawn ia also a wonderful place for the kids to play with our bunnies and they love it. We have a full service bar with Belgian beers and local brews on tap, and a complete wine list.
We have a brunch buffet every Sunday starting from 8 am till 2 pm.

I really can’t speak highly enough about the East Shore Smoke House. We have been at least 3 times now and the service is always so welcoming. Not only is the food INCREDIBLE, but we can sit and chat with anyone in here for hours. It seems very well managed and the staff are all excellent. I came expecting a cafe / diner style establishment and boy was I surprised! Starting with the tap list which is solely comprised of my favorite style of beer: Belgians! The Blackened Glazed Prime Rib was worth the extra few bucks and the dessert might just kill me it was so good. The service was, as they say, impeccable. Everything perfectly timed. (Ann was outstanding!) Not bad for a place I stopped cuz I was just passing through!

This is the best place if you want to experience an authentic interior and great food. My salmon was so good and the portion was very generous. The Singing Sons of Beaches were the music entertainment on Thursday and they were awesome and funny. Our waitress Teagan provided wonderful service. A must visit when you are in Polson.

What a great restaurant and staff! Beautiful relaxing patio!! Anna, our food server was sweet, professional and very accommodating. The head chef gave us some information about the area on his way in to work. My husband and I utilized the Harvest Host camping program which allowed us to relax and enjoy our dinner and drinks and walk “home” to our RV. Our first time in Montana and East Shore Smoke House made it a wonderful experience. Thank you!!

WOW, Drive by this place all the time and for some reason I never stopped. What a mistake. This establishment is really a quaint little place. Very rustic atmosphere that you have to check out for yourself. I would highly recommend stopping by and having Dinner. The prices are a little bit higher but well worth it! Staffing is extremely friendly. Check out the bar in the back. Great bartender. Also dinning in doors and a very nice outside seating area

Had a bad experience at Finley point grill so decided to drive down the road to east shore smokehouse. I’m sorry we went to either. We got a table cleaned off and when we came in another waitress said it was for an unreserved party after us. So they put us in the corner. We ordered drinks and never got what we asked for. 35 minutes later the waitress comes out and says there is no more prime rib. I order something different. 25 minutes later she comes out and says they ran out of lettuce. We waited for over 1.5 hours for steak, a baked potato, steamed veggies (which were disgustingly cold) and fries. Our steaks were well done, and we order medium. And within our entire time sitting there, our waitress didn’t check on us once. The only time she asked if we needed something was when she brought our plates. But our biggest complaint was fighting the flies and bees off our food in a hot room with no AC. We are locals and we used to enjoy coming here. We will no longer be a customer.

Fantastic place on the southeast end of Flathead Lake. These guys are part of harvest boasts and make fantastic food. The smoked brisket had a really great smoked flavor though not as tender as something that’s been claimed to have been smoked for 14 hours. The sauce served with it was flavorful but not over powering as a nice compliment to the meat. Loved the variety of cabbage in the slaw and similar variety in the baked beans. The bread around the French dip was perfect. Great cheese that was melted over the prime rib that goes with that sandwich.

We found out about this delightful place, through the harvest host app. Dinner was fantastic, our server Valerie was engaging and helpful, and answering our mini questions. The patios are so cute, the drink special was wonderful, a harvest cider with Prosecco.

Hidden gem! The food was great and the staff was so welcoming and friendly. We lucked out a got a table on the patio but you may want to make a reservation for a larger party. The owner is super nice and checked on our dinner party which made the overall environment that much more communal. We’re definitely going back.

While traveling with a group from Holiday Vacations, we stopped at the East Shore Smoke House for lunch. They opened during the day just to feed our group. The owner and one server provided exceptional service to our very large group. For dessert, one of our options was Huckleberry icecream, which was made from huckleberries picked by the server herself! I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone traveling through the area.
