Doors open at 11:30am for lunch so we arrived at 11:30am. We were seated at 11:50am. Thankfully we were off work. No cheerful staff. No happy greeting. Waiter was attentive, but very soft spoken so hard to hear.

Poor experience!!! Thai lover plate not even close to what i know about thai food, the manu said scallop basil… but there is no basil or scallop on the plate.

We were a little disappointed in our visit this year. I know that help is hard to find and prices are up. Because t it just wasn’t as good as our last visit. Our initial server was Jonny on the spot with drinks and salads and soup. Our chef was okay we missed the usual onion volcano some food was overcooked but overall it was a fun experience gratuity was already added.

It’s not my cup of tea. All the food tastes the same. Some over flavored, some not at all. Weird menu too. Not sure I’ll be a repeat customer. It’s a one and done. Plus it’s waaaaaay over priced for mediocre food. Atmosphere, well if you like benches turned upside down and the sound of drills then this place is for you. Service, lol I was the only person seated, the waiter asked if I only wanted ONE DRINK! Well there is only one of me…. for strip mall chinese food I would give this place 2 stars at best.

It’s not bad but not great. It’s Asian American style food – not authentic but will do the trick if you want Asian flavors or a mixed drink as the demographics request. Sushi is acceptable and fresh but no wow factor that makes any of the dishes a craving.

I went here with my sister and her aunt and uncle for our birthday dinners. This place is amazing! We did not sit at the hibachi table as there was a very long wait. However I waitress was efficient and attentive. The food was amazing and I’m looking forward to going back!

We order takeout from Eastern at least twice a month. Typically my girlfriend calls in the order and I grab it on my way home from work. She hardly ever orders the same thing because she enjoys trying new dishes and also getting old favorites, while my order is pretty consistent. For the second time I arrived at the restaurant to pick up the order and they claim it is not in the system. Both times they confirmed they remember the order coming in by phone but admit “For some reason it is not in the computer”. We order at a busy time (Friday nights) so my girlfriend tries to time it out and order at least 40 minutes in advance so I wont need to wait. Once they admitted the issue they want to take my order. Here’s the problem, I know what I got but have no idea what my girlfriend ordered. Now I need to call her and find out. Turns out she’s in the shower probably thinking I’ll be right there with the dinner she ordered 40 minutes ago. So I wait until I can get ahold of her, have her tell me what she wants and place the order at the counter. Takes 30 minutes for it to come out. At this point I have been sitting at Eastern for nearly an hour. First time this happened they were apologetic and gave us a discount. Second time I got defensiveness and attitude from the older woman at the counter and a blank stare from the young guy. Food here is good, especially the Sushi but the service is going downhill and I don’t appreciate being inconvenienced like this TWICE. Fix your computer system, if for some reason it didn’t get entered properly call the customer back and get it right.
