First time eating here was today. The food is so good and flavorful. I had oxtail, Mac n cheese and yams. Also had curry chicken, rice and peas and cabbage. Portion sizes are great for price. If you haven’t tried it, put it on your to do list. You won’t regret it.

The food here is some of the BEST food I’ve ever had from another cooking soul besides my husband, who is a chef and I am partial to. Every single bite of everything was amazing.. The curry and jerk chicken were soooo good. Such good flavor, spice level was perfect, and went so well with the rice and peas. The jerk pork was out of this world. The best collards I’ve ever had. The best yams I’ve ever had. We enjoyed every morsel, re-heating leftovers for breakfast and lunch and are now planning to drive a couple of hours to go back tomorrow before our vacation in NC is over. I am very picky food critic and am usually disappointed and what a surprise and what a treat it was to find such good food. We will come back whenever we are in town.

Got the goat curry and oxtails. Everything was on point. Flavors, consistency, smell and appearance were great. At a fair price. Going back to check the ribs and cabbage. Wallace needs more folks opening good places to eat.

It’s amazing what little hole-in the wall places you can find if you just look. The food was delicious, filling, and price-friendly. The owner was inviting, and had great energy while interacting with me and my friends I was with. I will definitely go back again.

Just got through eating the ribs, turkey wings Mac & cheese collard greens and candy yams. Lawd the food was outstanding. I have absolutely no complaints. Generous portions excellent staff. I highly recommend this place if you want really good food. Something we don’t normally get out here. I’m definitely a fan of this place, and sure my wife and I will be back real soon. I discovered them by accident but so glad I did. I ordered Oxtails and peas & Rice which were delicious. It’s nice having a restaurant that serves real food in the area. (So over fast food) I used to have to go to Wilmington to find authentic Caribbean cuisine. I plan to try everything on the menu. I met the owners and their family. They’re a very nice bunch.
