This review is long overdue, but so well deserved! We hired Ernest to cater our family gathering at Paradise Park in October, it was an event we were planning from out of state and Ernest and his wife helped us make it happen smoothly and we are so pleased with the result. Family and friends were commenting on the food for days, we had the oxtails, curry chicken, collard greens, peas and rice, and tropical rice for about 40 people. Additionally, we ordered empanadas in hot, mild, and vegetarian which were gobbled up immediately! Ebownight specializes in Jamaican food, so the empanadas tasted similar to Jamaican Beef patties with a different pastry crust. The oxtails and curry chicken were cooked to perfection, some said the curry chicken was a little on the spicy side, but that didn’t stop them at all! Ernest came and delivered the hot food and set it all up on burners for us, he was early and we were able to enjoy. And the pricing was very reasonable, despite ordering high price items like oxtails, he offered pricing that was very fair for the restaurant-quality food. We recommend Ernest and Ebownight Deli, such wonderful friendly customer service and awesome food! Our only regret was we didn’t take more pics of the food, we were too busy eating seconds and thirds of it!
