The atmosphere of this place was awesome. I ordered the potstickers as an appetizers. The presentation of all the dishes we ordered was beautiful. Everyone really enjoyed their meals and they were even fantastic as leftovers. I will say… when they ask for water and you’re not interested in paying $15 for water, save yourself the trouble and get the “filtered house”… it’s literally just tap but we got bamboozled into ordering still. It was great water but not worth $15 LOL. We didn’t order any drinks or dessert but the food was amazing. It is pricey but you’re definitely getting what you pay for.

Me and my family had just dined at eddie merlot to celebrate my sister and I passing our medical board exam and we had the pleasure of anthony being our server for the evening. Not only did he make us feel welcome but he took the time to know our culture ( haitian descent) and speak to us on a personable level. We had a bunch of laughs and anyone lucky to have anthony would feel like they won the lottery. Anthony you are the best and hope to visit again in the future .

My friends and I recently went here for dine out Boston experience! Although the menu was limited all the options were amazing! The Blackened Salmon was AMAZING! Well cooked, not dry and not undercooked. My friends also enjoyed the chicken and steak and raves about both. The wait staff was professional, helpful and so attentive! We will MOST DEFINITELY be returning! And SOON!

It will was our first time at Eddie’s merlot to celebrate 2 special occasions, my birthday and anniversary. We had a very high expectations for the menu and all reviews were so good. First, after we set down we wait for 5 mins to get greeted from our waitress when the restaurant was empty, from our waitress we didn’t received any suggestions on the menu. We order a chef signature “Filet del mar” we upgrade the filet to 8oz to share the plate which came with exactly 4 tiny fingerlings potatos, which I don’t understand why our waitress didn’t suggested another side or just said this plate it’s clearly not to share. At this point i was so disappointed, very hungry and want to left the restaurant, i left the restaurant to cook something else at home. In general, food was good but customer service needs to improved.

We went with friends to celebrate birthday, this restaurant was recommended to us by a friend based on the online reviews. The food we had was great, but the service was not the best. We found out waiter Toni to lack the customer service. We had a lot g day as we came from our of town, after 7 hours drive we were tired and just wanted to sit down and enjoy our evening. Whenever we asked Toni a question he was short in his answers and kept pointing at the menu asking us if we did read it. As well to remind us that is is a fine dining etc.. he never came to check if we liked the food or not. As soon. As we were done eating he asked if we want to see the desert menu once we said no he right away came back with the bill. We felt that he was rushing us out even though the restaurant nearly empty.
