They had been open less than a month and they had a very eager crew of staff who were all very nice and helpful. The current menu had very limited options but what we ordered was good, but the main thing I wanted was the fish tacos and they were out due to high demand from the prior day, so that was disappointing. I was told by staff that the menu will be expanded in the near future and the items on the current menu will move to appetizers on the new menu. I look forward to trying the new menu. There is a good view from the restaurant and the only negative experience was when the rain storm started and we were outside, we moved to the seating that was outside that was part of Eddy’s. Even though we were there less than 45 minutes before, we were asked to leave the area. I understand the policy and if there was a line of people waiting or if the place was busy, it would have been one thing, but it was rather empty due to a pretty large storm blowing in. If the tables were needed, we would have gladly given them up but being asked to leave was a little embarrassing since I had been bragging about this new location and had people come down from out of city and spent several hundred dollars on rafting but can’t sit at the tables that no one else needed…

Once we found it, we had a great experience. Delilar was a fun and attentive waitress. We had the Asian salad, very fresh, and Fish tacos, nice flavor. Had fun sitting by the window watching the boats come down the rapids.

This place has a lot of potential but it has a lot of issues to work out. The staff are very friendly but seem frazzled and like they haven’t received clear and consistent training from the management, from hosts to waiters to bar to kitchen staff. On one visit drinks came after our food. On another our table was forgotten and burgers had to be re-cooked three times. Chicken fingers and regular burger are tasty. Veggie burger was not good and came out without the toppings. apparently they were out, but that was not communicated when ordering. Each time we’ve visited their inventory has been off. they’ve consistently been out of items or toppings for items they do have. They’re currently on a reduced menu size so they definitely need to figure out inventory processes before expanding. I want to see this place succeed! I will try again in a few months. I worked in restaurants for years so I understand all the issues that can arise. I think this can be a great restaurant, both for the community and for the staff. It just needs some extra practice.

My Book Club came to Eddy’s and had an amazing experience! The cocktails were excellent and the bar staff had great expertise. The food was good and the environment was calm and relaxed. A great spot for friends getting together to have a bite and a talk.

First visit on Saturday, July 29, 2023. We sat at bar and both had Eddy’s hamburger which was delicious. Atmosphere is very nice with windows as every wall. They have a large patio too. Best thing about the visit was our bartender/server, Jon!! He was in training and was so friendly and personable. Great smile. Ask for him when you go. I’m going back today to take a friend that hasn’t been.

We had the burger, chicken tenders, and the asian bowl. Would love to order all three again. Can’t wait for the full menu to come out. Great Service.

$90 million and this is the one restaurant offered, seriously?!? It took 5 people to figure out how to seat a party of three in a nearly empty restaurant. Getting drinks took forever…after they don’t have a drink menu, the server cannot answer basic questions, and they were out of first seven drinks we ordered and then the drinks were just ok. Food options are very minimal and pricey for what you get and poorly cooked. Fish tacos are frozen fish sticks with a tiny bit of cole slaw on it. Disgusting. Wings were ok. Fries were cold. They only cook burgers well done at this point, so I went without food (being maxed out from trying to order and get our drinks and refusing that can’t cook a burger any other way). This is the worst food, service, and prices I have seen in a long time in Montgomery. They need to seriously tighten up and train their host/hostesses, servers, bartenders, and cooks to have a fighting chance at this restaurant making it. A bigger menu is needed but no sense if you can’t master cooking five basic items on current menu. The restaurant would be better off having food catered in or buying mass from a warehouse. Yuck!

Did me dirty. Burger came out with my drink pretty fast. Too fast, cause the burger and cheese was cold. Anywhere else you can get your food warm and for a lot less than $16.

Eddy’s restaurant is located inside Montgomery’s newest whitewater attraction park. My colleagues and I dined at the restaurant located right outside the front gate of Maxwell Air Force Base for lunch. Parking was plentiful and easy to find. The restaurant is located towards the entrance of the facility. Eddy’s restaurant was immaculately clean with bright colors, accenting the restaurant.
