The low review is mostly due to a dish that perfectly tasted like vomit. It had the consistency, acidity, and flavor of fresh emesis. It was truly the first time that I returned a plate after the first bite. In fact, 3 of us at the table returned our plate. It made me wonder if chefs taste the meals before they serve them. They gave us another course in replacement of that one, which was nice. The other dishes were fine. Some of the presentations were cool and unique. Overall, assuming the vomit dish was a fluke, the food there was ok/good and the service was great.

This place was overall pretty solid. Some hits and some misses. Wine pairing was really good compared to other places in Seattle at a better price point.

It was one of the most elegant restaurants we dined at in Seattle – a selection of thoughtfully designed tasting menu items, plus a good beverage program. Service was top notch. My favourite was the veal tartare. Definitely a must have.

Made a reservation a few hours before for the counter seating. I felt like I walked into a place of a magic happening in the kitchen. After having experienced a number of fine dining, It was a refreshing experience. Every dish was creative with exquisite taste. During the dinner, we had the chef coming and talked to us. It really reminded me of a restaurant I used to go frequently in London. I highly recommend !

I went for my husband’s birthday a few weeks ago and the both of us ordered the chef’s tasting menu and even added the wine pairings. The food was beautifully plated, but I have to say that it was quite small and I saw that the regular menu items were much larger in portion sizes. The wine pairings were fair and not bad pours, but I didn’t think the pairing was “that great” or paired that nicely with the food.

This place is a creative Jem. Every dish was amazing from the bread with honey butter, beef tartar, halibut and pork shank somm style. We had the mudd pie and foie gras pound cake. Presentation was unique. We even got the chance to thank Chef Petty.

Exceptional service we came to celebrate my boyfriends birthday and they went beyond it, making him feel celebrated. We did the five course meal, and each Coors hit the spot with presentation and taste.
