Found the place by the smell of their outdoor grill. Smelled so good I had to stop by for food. Got their 1/4 jerk chicken with rice&beans and with plantains for my family. I decided to get one for my two year girl and let’s say it was a great decision. Kissi shredded the chicken for her and my little girl devoured the food. Never seen her eat something that quickly. She kept telling “so good”. My whole family loved it and we’ll definitely be going back to try their other food.

I was greeted immediately upon entering by the very friendly and funny owner. He helped me make a selection since I didn’t really know what to order. The food was incredible! I got the 1/2 jerk chicken plate with 2 sides: black beans & rice plus cabbage. I asked for spicy sauce on the side because I’m whytte but WOW it was so flavorful and spicy in a good way! The chicken was very flavorful with a smoky taste. It was so tender it fell right off the bone. The sides were not going to be out done by the main. The beans and rice and cabbage were both perfectly cooked and super tasty. Honestly this was wayyyy too much food!! This fed 2 people with leftovers!!

I’m not sure I’ve ever felt more immediately welcomed when I walked into a restaurant. Everyone was smiling, from the man behind the counter to all the customers. It doesn’t matter what he is doing, when you walk in the door the host stops and greets you. Everyone feels at home there. I had to wait a while because the chicken was finishing up on the grill, but it didn’t matter because it’s such a friendly place.

This place is a gem. The guy at the counter was as charming as they come. Food was amazing. My wife had the curry chicken, yellow rice and greens, which was well recommended. I had the 1/2 chicken, beans and rice with plantains, and it was delish! It says carryout only, but there is a short bar in the restaurant as well as tables out in the parking lot. They worked fine for us.

When we walked in we were greeted with a big smile and a hello. We order and the food was absolutely delicious. The chicken curry was so incredibly flavourful and the chicken practically melted in my mouth. The yellow rice the came with it was seasoned lightly with impactful flavours. 100% would recommend.

I ordered jerk chicken and chicken curry with saffron rice, fried plantains and potato salad as sides. Everything was amazing, you could even eat the rice alone, it was really good. The chicken was so tender, plantains were perfectly caramelized. I love spicy food so it’s good that their hot sauce is actually hot. Super friendly and personable people. Definitely recommended and we’ll be back to try other food.
