Stopped by today for lunch. The food was exceptional. The menuedo, asado de Puerto, mole, chicarron in sala, both the red and green were fantastic! Everything was fresh and tasted just like homemade moma’s cooking. The tortillias were very good as well. Our server, Jesus was amazing. Everytime he came to our table to see how we were doing, he always did it with a smile. He kept our drinks full and offered to bring another bash of tortillias. The decor is very nice and comfortable. Our only drawback is that it was warm in our sitting area. I don’t know if the issue was ac problems or not but other than that, we will definitely make this restaurant a regular for us now.

I took Dad to Edith’s Mexican Buffet for breakfast. Edith’s is located on the service road of the expressway going east from Shary Road in Mission. We were greeted and seated, then greeted again by our appointed attendant. I forgot her name but she was on point on service throughout our meal. We sipped our coffee and chatted for a minute before getting up to serve ourselves. Once I got over to the hot line and started scanning over the perimeter, I realized this place has a pretty good spread going on over here. There were different types of scrambled eggs done Tex-Mex style, I eyed potatoes, salsas, and refried beans. ( ) I really liked that they were using fresh eggs and not liquid eggs in their dishes. Makes a big difference, plus they had covers on the holding pans to keep it nice and hot, more kudos guys!! There is American fare available, as well as, a row of cereal dispensers if you fancy a bowl of oats. I started with a bowl of Menudo, Dad opted for bacon and eggs with a side of refried beans and flour tortillas freshly made. I’m telling you this place was on point. The accompaniments that normally come with Menudo were available

Decided to stop and try it for lunch, the buffet had a good variety of Mexican food, and most of it was good, but some of the items were not hot and lacked some flavor. The menudo was really good, and the pork chops in tomatillo sauce were new for me, and it was good. They have fruit and ice cream too. I tried a piece of cake but it was dry so I was disappointed. Overall, for the price, the food was good, and I would come back to try some of the other items I didn’t get to. The staff was friendly and very attentive.

I entered and was told to sign in. I simply put in my email address. I was first in line. After awhile a hostess cane to me and asked my name. I said my name but she didn’t see that name. I said I only put in my E-mail address. She asked two other groups. I said I was confused. I was about to ask do you have me on your list or do I need to go to Golden Coral? We were then seated. Very confusing.

Didn’t know you could order french toast or eggs. The little standing menu on the table had drinks facing me and the waiter never mentioned it. As someone being new there, it wasn’t cool. Some friends pointed it out later on. Other than that, nice breakfast buffet for $8

There’s so much I can say! I will most definitely be returning. We came during the breakfast buffet and it was AMAZING. It’s more Mexican, and some Mexican plates that we’re too lazy to make ARE HERE. The options are great. Not overwhelming at all. I truly LOVED the fact that it’s a Christian owned. Biblical scriptures on frames and music was playing clearly. It’s always a beautiful experience being somewhere that still plays Christian music. The prices for the breakfast and lunch are pretty darn good too. It’s what u pay for a whatasize meal at whataburger. I highly recommend. I look forward for next time.

We love Edith’s because of the service and care they offer to their customers. Edith’s food is some of the best when it comes to buffet style dining. And their faith base business style is easy to spot on their customer service. It’s something you have to experience at least once.
