Edna’s Kitchen has a wonderful atmosphere and the outside is so cute and quaint! I loved sitting in the rocking chairs while waiting for my food. Unfortunately, the food was just not good. Everything we ordered tasted old and had zero flavor. The fries were cold and hard, the cheesesteak was dry, and the lemonade had zero lemon taste. The banana pudding was great, though! At $50 for a family of three, I felt like I could have gotten a better, tastier, and fresher meal elsewhere. I think Edna’s Kitchen has so much potential and has the means to be great. I hope they see success but until their food improves I will not be back.

Wow! What a treasure this place is to grab some fresh food. My family had the burgers, Philly cheese steak and the Banana Pudding was to die for. It is so clean and the outside is simply beautiful with a Southern look that makes it feel like your meal was made just for you. They have their own picnic tables where our family decided to eat and enjoy some lone constantly refreshing our drinks. Truly Southern hospitality at its finest!

I got a chicken tender plate with chili cheese fries. The chicken tenders have absolutely no flavor what so ever, normally i would say ranch can make anything taste better but in this case it didn’t! The fries tasted old (not saying they were but that’s how they tasted) Maybe the oil needed to be changed I’m not for sure. But overall I couldn’t finish the food it was so unappetizing and I’m a bigger girl so that’s unlike me to not finish eating my food

The food is actually horrible now. The tea was sour at lunchtime. The burger looked like a sausage patty and still wasn’t done in the middle. The fries were so burned and coated in grease that it’s still in my mouth. And the people were not friendly at all. If you’re expecting “The Kitchen” burgers, you will be extremely disappointed. Not sure at all how they are using Edna’s name for this food.

Today, I picked up two bbq sandwiches, fries and onion rings. While I waited for my food, they gave me a complimentary banana pudding. It was great. The sandwiches were awesome, and so were the fresh cut fries and homemade onion rings. I’ll definitely go there again. Maybe next time, I’ll try the ribs, philly cheesesteak or icecream. They also have picnic tables, benches and rocking chairs to use while you wait on your order.

I tried this place when I first moved to Dillon many years back. I’d heard nothing but great things about their hamburgers so I ordered a cheeseburger. The first thing I noticed was that the burger had tons of bread in it. The bun should cover all of your need for bread! Anyway, I didn’t go there again until tonight. We wanted to try it again since it was under new ownership. Well, nothing has changed. The cheeseburgers we got were full of bread once again. I like the meat on my burger to be 100% BEEF. Maybe I’m in the minority but if so, I like it here!

When I was younger we would always go there the food was great but now it’s not you pay $5 for a cheeseburger that looks like a patty sausage the hotdogs was nasty and the burger was fixed like whatever then when I was getting ready to leave the cook went outside with her apron on I will never eat there again
