Decent place. Service and staff were great and food was mostly very good. Five of us ate and one meal (fajitas) was fairly flavorless and sparse. The other meals were very good though and family had a good time. Will go back, but will just avoid the fajitas.

This place has the most unbelievable food, service & atmosphere I have ever experienced in this town. I have compared their cheese enchiladas to a number of restaurant acrossed the globe, and have yet to find any that have come even remotely close to the ones served at Effie’s! Service was extremely slow. It was very crowded and loud. We had to ask 3 times for the cheese dip we ordered when our waitresses first came for drink orders. It came with our dinner but not with our chips and salsa. Their salsa, however, was VERY GOOD!

Waited for over 45min for table but went inside to check and more than 2/3 of resteraunt was empty. Host said she didn’t want to overload the servers with more them 1 table at a time. Totally Uexceptable!!

I have eaten here since I was in flight school. My wife and I went on our sixth date here. I enjoy all of the Mexican restaurants in town, but this is our sentimental favorite. Highly recommend the caso with chorizo. (Please excuse my spelling) their carnitas are the best in town

Took my girlfriend and her parents for my GF’s mom’s birthday and the food was just not good at all, I had quesadillas and they were stale, my GF had Chile rellano and it was cold and bland, I never got a refill of my tea, very disappointed our first visit won’t be going back and for $88 just ridiculous
