I’d call this a hole in the wall kind of place, depending on what you’re used to. Service was quick and the guy was kind, just not very social. Not too much wait for the food. Very satisfied with the food! Exceeded expectations. Fresh, good flavor, and good portions for the price.

After reading the reviews and mostly service was the issue, I ordered doordash pick up. Got waffles and added strawberries, biscuits with gravy, scrambled eggs, sausage and bacon. Between myself and my daughter all is gone. Food was delicious, so good that I didn’t have time to take a picture to show the food but I did of the after math Lol. Thank you for breakfast Egg morning cafe.

I’ll come back with my food review in a different review. I see a lot of service related bad reviews. We were greeted the moment we opened the door, we were told it’s ok to pick and open table, we were greeted at the table within minutes, our drinks were delivered quickly, the order was taken and the server was very friendly, answers to our menu questions were cordial as you’d expect. It’s my opinion that service during this visit is not suffering and they are taking great care of their customers. Every single staff member we see in the dining room is busy and constantly moving. I see Teamwork and nothing but a functional restaurant with “good service”….

Great new place in Terrell to eat breakfast. Very fresh ingredients and cooked to order. Each item we have ordered has always been made perfect, seasoned, and hot. Restaurant is clean and tidy, and tables are always clean. Service is hit and miss, depends on who you get. Not reason not to give five stars, but owners need to improve service employees. I highly recommend you and your family to visit this jewel in Terrell. We have visited several times since they opened and prices are great! Go and enjoy their breakfast or lunch.

Sign says seat yourself upon arrival. We went to sit and were told to wait although tables were empty. We ordered two breakfast plates and it took over 30 minutes to get it. Pancakes looked like they came from a box and heated up. Went to ask for a fork and the young lady sitting behind the register playing on her phone was inconvenienced by having to get up. As I was checking out at register, an elderly man came to the front counter with his utensils in his hand asking for a clean set. That same young lady looked at him all crazy with a distorted face like she didn’t comprehend. I spoke up and told her his utensils were dirty and he wanted clean ones. She shot me ugly looks as she walked off. At the same time, a group of 4 came in and went to seat themselves like the sign says and a voice hollered, “hey you have to wait”. The man replied the sign says seat yourself. They left. The service was not great especially from the young lady with long red extensions!

Came here for breakfast this morning i sat at the table for 15 minutes before the waitresses even came to my table to see what i wanted and then she told her coffee and orange juice i took another 10 minutes to get it and place my order. Then i sat and waited on my order another 20 minutes before i got up and walked out. The staff is a bunch of highschool kids that are not properly trained i blame that on the owner. The place is run down and i need of repair the bathrooms are worst than truckstop rest rooms . I will be calling the health deparment on Monday morning. I will never stop their again .

Only giving a 1 star review because I can’t give any lower. Service is absolutely HORRIBLE. Their are YOUNG GIRLS running/working and they literally don’t give two craps about the service or their customers. One man had dirty silverware and the girl with long red hair gave him a dumbfounded look when he asked for clean silverware. Then she dramatically rolled her eyes at us when explaining when the customer was asking as she walked into the back. It was as if we interrupted her texting on her phone and was so out out. None of them care about their job and they are just there to be there. Food took forever to come out and the amount of food was a joke. Regardless, would NEVER recommend this place and definitely not eating here again when visiting from

Terrell restaurant specializing in breakfast. Large menu with a helpful friendly waitress. Omelet was fluffy and delicious. Crisp bacon and great grits. Going back soon to try the chicken and waffles.
