The restaurant had a clean and organized appearance, creating a pleasant ambiance. The service provided was excellent. However, I was disappointed with the quality of the food. The excessive use of spices in every dish overpowered the flavors of the ingredients, compromising the overall taste. The Chicken 65 Biryani resembled colored rice with little resemblance to its traditional flavors. The Egg Pav Bhaji lacked the expected buttery smoothness, being overwhelmed by an abundance of aromatics and lacking excitement. On a positive note, I thoroughly enjoyed the Chicken Tikka Masala and Butter Naan, along with the accompanying rice. This suggests that other curry dishes on the menu might be satisfactory. Unfortunately, the restaurant failed to deliver on its promise of egg dishes, considering its name as “Egg n Curry.” Can give this place a try once.

There are much better Indian restaurants than Egg N’Curry in Charlotte. We visited on a Thursday evening and we were one of the two groups of customers in the entire restaurant.

Delicious food and good customer service. One lady was doing everything though and with a smile. However, she could have used some help. I definitely recommend this place. Reminds me of my favorite Indian spot back home!

Excellent service and tasty food. The location, which was for a long time a southern Indian vegetarian place named Woodlands, and later another world vegetarian restaurant named after its owner Jyoti’s, brings back many memories. Egg and Curry, as the name suggests, does offer up many chicken and egg options including its wide array of veggie dishes. I got the samosas, which were on point. I also got the Hyderabadi Biryani which was different than what I have had at other local Indian restaurants. It was well-spiced and tasty but seemed more like a tasty rice-a-roni dish. The raita also tasted a bit more like ranch dressing than yoghurt.

Went for a date night with my husband. Service was amazing, everything was so clean and the decor is beautiful. Most importantly the food was INCREDIBLE. We had samosas, garlic naan, and two entrees that were delicious! I can’t remember their names. You honestly can’t go wrong.

Perfect place to visit if you’re a fan of egg. They have amazing varieties, the egg pav bhaji is super tasty. I have tried the various sandwiches (samosa sandwich is a must try), mango lassi is yummy as well. The customer service is so good and the restaurant is so clean and neat.

I would give this place 3 1/2 stars. I ordered Butter Chicken with Garlic Naan for take out and the food was ready when I got there. The spice level was perfect (I love it spicy!). However, it lacked all flavor other than that. I actually had to add some salt to it just to give it some kind of flavor. The garlic Naan was good though.
