Though the portion sizes are good, we were very disappointed in the taste. The chicken and broccoli, Lomien and the shrimp and scallops all were pale in color and lack flavor. It was as if they thickened the sauce without adding any seasoning or soy. It gave all the food a very bland taste. Even the kids weren’t interested in eating it. Such is life $70 in the trash.

Have been in search of a good Chinese restaurant lunch special in Muskegon. Tried this place today, good price but food not edible. Mushy chicken that tasted VERY sweet with mushy peas and carrots that obviously were of the frozen type; no fresh veggies here! Overall, the entire meal tasted old and yucky; most of it went in the trash.

I visited on 4/19/20. From Detroit so I’m so used to really good food, especially Chinese food. Grand Rapids, Wyoming-MI, and now Muskegon NEED a good Chinese food take-out. I bought the sweet and sour chicken and shrimp fried rice, paid $18.93, and it was NOT good or worth the money. The S&S sauce was hot but the chicken was cold giving me the impression that they sold me old chicken with fresh sauce. The rice was okay, rather bland somehow; the tiny shrimp were in pieces (so not whole). Also, they didn’t fill the container with chicken, there was about half an inch of space at the top. Last, b/c of their name, I THOUGHT maybe their gimmick would be you get a free egg roll with every order or something, I EXPECTED a special or discount on egg rolls, but nope. 2 for $2.80! Overall, for the money, I most definitely expected better.

Excellent as always. Hot Mustard is a rarity as it’s actually hot and the egg rolls are to die for. Love the Princess Chicken and quality is always top of the line whenever I eat there. It’s not a high end joint but it is very good.
