Sometimes I just want simple yummy food in large, greedy portions. When I feel like that, the Egg Roll King is a solid choice. It is not pretty to look at, but don’t let that keep you from trying it. I do take out here because it’s easy to access and it’s really quick. They have the greatest parking lot (even though it fits only 5 full sized vehicles). It’s great because there are two ways to get to it. One is straight in from Wells, and the other you enter the brick building’s lot from Vassar, quick left at the alley and then immediate right into the lot. They also have three spaces right in front of the restaurant, on Wells. They are super quick, the ingredients are always fresh (except deep fried meat) and I get two belly stretching meals.

My food experience at this place was not a pleasant one. Due to the fact I received completely raw and uncooked vegetables with my meat of choice. That’s not all, the white onions overpowered everything in the box. The cabbage in the egg rolls were sour as if it was spoiled. The fried rice taste as if it was horribly freezer burnt. The Shrimp was under cooked and fishy. Lastly the chicken wings was salted only with no other seasoning. My first and last time coming to this establishment. Complete waste of money

It’s… Okay. First, the cost is good. There’s a nearby place that charges twice as much just for a breakfast burrito. However, there’s a reason for that. The kung pao chicken is pretty light on the chicken and extra heavy on celery. The lemon chicken had some pretty obviously old pieces… the sauce is delicious though. The fried rice was really good. I’d come back, but I’d also try other places first.

The food was not good at all. The beef tasted old and so did the chicken. Had a spoiled taste to it. My daughter and I both got sick after eating it. Took the food back and ask for a refund and got attitude. And wouldn’t refund the whole meal because we ate one crab Rangoon.

Food was not fresh, it was bad meat and mad us sick. We ordered beef with broccoli and sweet and sour chicken. The beef and chicken both tasted spoiled. We didn’t take more than a few bites because it made us both go get sick. I called to take Food back and they wanted to give us another combo. Why would I want more food after I just puked up what I bought in the first place. I told them I would bring the food back. We ate 1/2 of the crab Rangoon. They acted like they didn’t want to give me money back when I took back all of the food except 3 crab ragoons. They still charged me for the crab Rangoon. All in all I spent $30 and got $24 back. I would think after serving spoiled meat they should just refund the whole amount. 100% DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE

Been going there for years but they must have gotten a new cook as it was not as good as it had been. Still great egg rolls & crab rangoon, but sweet & sour soup had way too much cornstarch. Entrees just ok, not great as usual.
