A decent local place (family owned). But was a bit disappointed with the flavors. The banana Nutella pancakes were decent but the skillet Omelet was not good, lacked flavor. The coffee was bad and I could not finish it. But the place was super busy on a Saturday morning. Be ready to wait for 15-30 minutes.

Great breakfast or brunch spot. We arrived with a group of 7 and had a short wait to be seated. Service was excellent, food came out quickly, and everything for our group was delicious. Chicken and waffles and Irish Benedict were particularly good. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area, but keep an eye on timing to make sure it’s not a busy time – they have plenty of seating, but it can fill up quickly.

Let me just say this place lives up to the name EGGCELLENT!! Our server was great! She was able to answer any questions we had about the menu and gave fantastic suggestions. I don’t even know where to begin when describing the quality and taste of the food. The veggie omelet and caramelized apple pancakes were to die for. However, their biscuits and gravy were phenomenal!!! The decor and seating is crisp, clean and cozy. I can’t wait to return to try the lunch menu Definitely my new favorite spot this area!!!!!!!!

We had a very pleasant breakfast here. I enjoyed the Irish Benedict, and the seasoned potatoes were crispy, seasoned well, and not greasy at all. My wife had a variation of the biscuits and gravy, and it also tasted great. Our server was attentive, everything was prepared well, and I really liked the house hot sauce.

Oh. My. Goodness!!! This place is unbelievable!!! Small strip mall location, easy to get to, gorgeous on the inside and great atmosphere! Menu choices were so very unique, unlike anything I’ve seen before. I ordered the Tiramisu pancakes and sausage patties, hubby got the hash stack, and our taste buds were tantalized!! I cannot even describe how dreamy those pancakes were!! Wow!! Our server Crystal was absolutely wonderful! Food came fast and hot. It was brunch, so we sadly didn’t have coffee, but I’m betting it would taste great, too. Loved every minute of it, even though it’s a good 50 minute drive from our house and we don’t go towards Peoria often, we will be back again!! Thank you for a great dining experience!

Food was incredibly good. Many breakfast classics as well as some creative twists and unique items. Very clean, nice atmosphere. I really appreciate the variety that is well thought out, not just a bunch of similar items to make the menu look big. Very impressed, will be returning plenty of times!

Stop by eggcellent Cafe for the first time the other day, they were very busy and there were many people waiting in line. It was a hot day so there was still three tables open outside and if we decided to sit outside we could skip ahead of the line, so we did. Everyone else was waiting to sit inside. I thought the location was kind of small be great if they could expand because it was very crowded. We all enjoyed our meals but the prices were a bit high for my taste however I would like to go back and try something else on the menu for sure.
