Welcome to Eight Row
James Beard nominated chef David Nichols (best chef northwest) and his little brother Ian, grew up in Washington orchard country. The name Eight Row refers to the largest cherry size found on a standard cherry gauge. As kids we spent hours every harvest scouring our orchard near Cashmere for the elusive eight row cherry. We learned that food is better when the human narrative comes into focus. At Eight Row we fold our own family culinary traditions into those of the more recent immigrants who work alongside us every day. The flavors are a reflection of the diverse and tight-knit community found on our orchard.

Every dish was as beautiful as it was delicious. The menu is seasonal, some favorites were the Wagyu Albóndigas, the Charred Broccoli, Halibut Ceviche and Tres Leches Cake.

Wow. They opened in 2019, we just discovered a few weeks ago. Amazing wine list (thank you Ian in UK), very eclectic and tiny markups. Lovely food. Only thing I would change? Lower the music volume by 50% or 20db. What a wine list.

I visited Eight Row for a company dinner in December and really enjoyed the food and experience, and my wife and I chose it to celebrate our wedding anniversary. It was a wonderful experience of delicious food, drinks, ambiance, and service. We decided on the set course meal with paired wine. It was an absolute treat, and we loved the food and the drinks paired with each course. The staff were wonderful and are a true asset to the restaurant. Their friendly demeanor and timely service really enhanced our dining experience more than any other fine dining restaurants that we’ve visited over the years.

Delicious food, good service, but holy cow is it overpriced. We came for dinner and did the tasting menu with a couple cocktails and our total was $300. The food was overall good with interesting flavors (except for the cheesecake, which was not good). Glad we tried it but we probably won’t go back.

This is one of my favorite restaurants. Every time we eat here everything is delicious. I recently celebrated my birthday with friends and everything was great. The food was delicious and the service is amazing! I also love that it’s not too loud and I could actually talk to my friends. Everyone in our party loved their food and drinks. Unbelievably wonderful- the entire evening was absolutely magical! The food was inspired, DELICIOUS, incredible. We shared everything so we could try many dishes. The bread- wow! Eggplant is a MUST! Prawns and greens and melon- wow again! Beets and watermelon, yum! Street corn agnolotti- I mean literally everything is amazing. Save room for fresh Cherry donuts! Quest ice cream and stone fruit- the combinations!! Everyone is wonderful- it’s like you’re going to your best friend’s house for a wonderful meal. The space is gorgeous- beautiful yet comfortable. Truly memorable, I can’t wait to go again! Thank you all for a fabulous night.
