Food is fantastic. Unfortunately the times they are actually open never seem to align with their posted business hours. Maybe just post a sign that says, “Monday-Friday might be open, IDK”

So freaking good. Taste of Hawaii in the mountains and I couldn’t be more happy!

Delicious! We got the Mermaid tea (I did not expect lavender and pineapple to be a good combination but it was!) and two “bowls.” I got the North Shore Shrimp, which was crispy, sweet, and savory with the tails still on. The sauce reminded me a bit of sweet and sour sauce. My boyfriend got the Hawaiian Style Poke bowl, which is raw Ahi tuna. The fish was unbelievably fresh (do they have a secret tuna tank?) and well-seasoned. Both were served on top of white rice. The wait time was about 20 minutes for the food, but it was Friday night and a new business (only a few staff members) but it was 100% worth it and the beachy atmosphere was very enjoyable and the wait for our drinks was only 5 minutes. Looking forward to going again!

They are literally never open even when they say they are. Foods good but it’s not worth driving all the way down there just to be met with a closed restaurant. They also don’t answer their phone when they are open so you can’t call ahead to see if they are open. This is the only review I have ever written because it is actually ridiculous how bad they are at this

Flavorful, authentic, delicious, decadent. Great portions for price. And best of all, friendly staff. Been there twice this week. More locals need to come and “discover” this place, and expand your culinary horizons.

Place was closed for months when I tried to come in last year. Then I was so excited when I saw it was back up. Went inside to find out they blew up the prices. Like.. almost doubled the prices. Quality of food is NOT worth the price. Nowhere even close. They’re next to a college. They should be pricing things that college students can afford. They’ll probably be closed within a year, unfortunately, because of this.

I literally go here once every paycheck. I cant help it. The volcano chicken is my fav! I call ahead so I don’t have to wait and it only takes about 10 or 15 minutes-fast and easy!

I wish I could leave a good review since I love the place but since the price raises. It has gone from a expensive treat from now and then to once in a blue moon blow out. I hoped with the price increase I got more food but that wasn’t the case. 27 dollars for a plate for one person is no longer reasonable. It’ll be a long time until a revisit

This place has become an absolute joke. 18$ for a seasoned chicken breast and some rice and a handful of greens with store bought dressing? You’re not Gordon F’ckn Ramsey and chicken doesn’t cost that damn much. Used to love this place when it was reasonable but your ego got the best of you. Not to mention your front worker is so stoned he can barely f’ckn see. Real great way to set the bar. I’ll add to this in an edit the chicken wasn’t even cooked all the way. I had to nuke it. Never again.

Good Hawaiian food to go. There were a lot of wonderful things on the menu, and I’ve had the katsu before. It’s rare to find a poke shop on the Western Slope, and it’s spendy but that’s to be expected of fish flown to the center of the continent. This time I got that Kauai Chicken, and I was impressed because even after the trip back home, the chicken was still super crisp. They were really intelligent and packed the sauce to go, so I could put it on myself when I was going to eat it, and it was wonderfully sweet, spicy, and umami salty in all the good ways to make my rice super tasty. The portions were very generous, my half order was a super big lunch for me.
